I wish that I had had this product ages ago – it really helps to keep your vulva safe whether you are shaving, epilating, waxing or even using depilatory cream. It takes a bit of getting used to, so maybe practice placing it before you actually start to groom so you know what to expect and so it does not slip. One thing to keep in mind that although the pictures look a bit like the material used is silicone, it is actually some type of flexible plastic; itâs not what I would call hard, but it is definitely not what I expected when I bought it. Regardless, it really is wonderful and helps to give a little peace of mind when you are wielding razors, tiny weed whackers, or creams with the pH of Easy-Off so close to your lady business!

Some of these reviews confused me, and caused me to be hesitant, however Iâm glad I chose to decide for myself and buy this item anyway, it is a soft flexible sort of plastic material. Extremely easy to use, and EXTREMELY comfortable, I use it for protecing my innards while doing my intimate lightening, and I literally fell asleep while wearing it! THATS how comfortable it is, it is also long enough to cover the #2 hole if you get my drift! But it does exactly what it says and itâs very affordable literally buy it.

This Va J-J intimate area shield is great quality and easy to use. It works well and stays in place well too. For personal use they can be washed and reused. They are also disposable if given to a client. I use it at home for intimate laser hair removal. Overall it fits well and I’m very pleased with it.

I ordered this for my wife to aid with hair removal whilst protecting the intimate parts, especially while waxing or using a razor.On first glance you might think it’s too narrow but it actually fits very well and providing you following the instructions, it should stay in place too while you get on with your ablutions. I don’t know why another reviewer has complained about it being single use as this is definitely not true. It can easily be washed and reused again and again.This is a really innovative yet simple idea. It might seem a lot of money for a piece of plastic but you are paying for lots of design and development that has gone into making this product too.

What a clever and totally ingenious product, I love this!At first sight I thought ‘this in no way is going to fit where I need to put it’, it looked like it would be way to small, but it did fit and very perfectly too!In all the years I have been removing hair, using a cream hair remover, I have gone to great lengths to try to avoid getting the hair removing cream onto my most intimate areas and none of them have been completely successful, that is until this clever little gadget came along! The VA J-J visor/shield does the job absolutely perfectly. I have read other reviewers mention that the shield won’t stay in place on its own and that you have to hold it in place with your hand, all I can say to this is I don’t think they have positioned the shield correctly, it takes a little practice but if you ensure the back part of the shield goes, ever-so-slightly towards the back area of your body, just where your bum cheeks start, the shield will stay exactly where you place it, you can even stand up from a lying position and it won’t move around or drop off.This is exactly what I needed for the purpose I ordered it for, I can apply the cream without worry, wait for it to work, then step into the shower to rinse off all without fears that the cream may have gone where I didn’t need it to be! The current price of £9.99 might sound expensive for a small piece of plastic but the effort that must have gone into bringing this to market, in my view makes it worth every penny.
