Our founder, Mallory, struggled with dry skin all her life. After trying prescription and non-prescription remedies, she decided to explore different exfoliation techniques practiced by cultures around the world.

Skeptic turned believer!
I am a HUGE exfoliation girly. Everyday I do some kind of exfoliation whether it be using my rough texture loofah and scrubbing, a store bought exfoliation mit (what I thought would basically be what this is), or some type of exfoliation scrub on its own, or with one of those tools to get *extra* exfoliated. Moral of the story, Iâm not just throwing soap on myself with my hand and calling it a day. I saw so many comments on the ad say people who use this must not wash their bodyâs with a loofah/rag or exfoliate. I urge you to buy this if you think you are scrubbing your body everyday like me because I honestly rubbed years of dead skin off my body, Iâm sure. My skin has never ever been so smooth in my life. My soap glided on after, my moisturizer soaked into my skin beautifully. It was what I had been searching for after every scrub down shower Iâve taken.Now, hereâs the thing. You kind of have to figure out the sweet spot with it. Your body and the glove have to be almost dry, with a touch of moisture. I found washing my hair first and using it after worked best to help soften the dead skin. But you almost have to let yourself and the glove air dry a bit first for a few minutes. If you or the glove are too wet, it doesnât have enough friction to work well. It works some, but once you see what it does with more friction, youâll understand! But you canât let either get too dry because itâll cause some irritation due to too much friction. My skin was a bit sensitive at first because it is very abrasive. I could see it turning very red in the shower, but it quickly disappeared for me personally. I would be interested to try the other gloves for more sensitive skin next. I would 10/10 recommend this to everybody!

Best one! Simultaneously gross and great.
To give context of use, I use this when soaking in the bathtub and then wash off in the shower. The instructions state to use the mitt out of the water to create friction for exfoliation, but I have found it to be effective even when using it on body parts submerged in water.This is gross, but bear with me:⢠The first use was both gross and satisfying. Lots of rolls of gray dead skin showing up on my legs and arms as I exfoliated.⢠The second use, I didn’t see the gray rolls and wasn’t sure the mitt was still working but then noticed lots of light transparent skin flakes floating in the bath water. I noticed after I was showered and dried that my skin felt smooth and fresh.⢠The third time, I was more patient and didn’t obsess looking for evidence of skin being exfoliated. I just trusted the process. I was surprised to see lots of flakes in the water again as I was draining the tub.I use this mitt about once a week. I am amazed at how smooth and soft the skin on my entire body feels! Sometimes, I’ll just be chilling on the sofa or waking up from sleep and my arm brushes up against my leg or one leg crosses over to the other, and my thought process is interrupted by how smooth my skin feels even though we are in the middle of winter! My skin hasn’t felt like this for about 10-12 years.I’ve owned several exfoliating tools over my lifetime and this one is the most effective and easiest to use that I’ve come across.

Not what I thought but still good
This definitely exfoliates and smoothes your skin, but it doesnât work like the photos. I have extremely dry skin due to eczema. I have used this glove a few times now and I have never seen the dead skin âwormsâ like it shows in the photos. I can tell that itâs smoothing and exfoliating the skin, but I was looking forward to seeing the dead skin come off like the pictures, but I did not. Iâm sure Iâve got plenty of dead skin to remove. Either way, Iâll keep using it because my skin is softer and less itchy.

Works as advertised, with a learning curve
I was skeptical of it really sloughing the dead skin off like it shows in the ads. Nonetheless I thought it would be a perfectly good exfoliating glove, and it is. I used it for the first few weeks in the shower with body wash like any other washcloth (not how the brand instructs you to use it to get the deep exfoliation effect – I was aware of this), and even used like that, Iâd give it five stars for being a great exfoliator that left my skin soft and feeling healthy. Fast forward a bit and I decided to actually follow the instructions and try for the deep exfoliation as advertised. It takes a bit of nuance to really get it to work: for me Iâve had success letting my skin dry for few minutes after a shower, then going in with the dampened glove, using a firm massage-like motion rather than scrubbing (if that makes sense?) and I do indeed get those balls of dead skin rolling off. I was genuinely surprised that it actually worked. Give yourself a little time and practice to figure out how to use it and youâll see the results. Really happy I decided to try this out.

Overhyped
This mitt was hyped up like crazy on the internet so I had high hopes but I was left largely disappointed. Itâs incredibly abrasive but didnât remove dead skin and just left it irritated. Itâs overpriced too.

Not the same
This is the 3rd time I buy this scrubbing mitten after using the last two until their final days, this one was not the same. Rough and not useful at all. Very different material from the ones I have ordered before.This one was made with a rough, textured fabric that only makes your skin red and damage as the others was a smooth fabric that you would think couldnât do anything until you tried it ave it was just as you see in the advertisement, you peel like a snake, without any redness or discomfort.

This thing works like magic my skin feels so much smootherâ¦. Also I wish they had one for back as it is hard to reach my back area but overall this product is great for exfoliating and gives a smooth appearance.

Skin changing!
I love this even more than I could have imagined! Be careful, you can go overboard. But I just absolutely love the way it makes my skin feel! I wash it after two uses and rinse well in between. Highly recommend!

I was surprised with how well this really works! Not going to lie, itâs a little gross to see how much dead skin comes off after soaking and scrubbing for a bit. My skin is so much softer and healthier afterwards. I love it so much I plan to use it twice a week to keep my skin healthy and moisturized, especially during the Winter months.

This mitt worked so well! I had bumps on the back of my upper arms. The mitt made them almost disappear on the first use. I thought it might hurt because of the texture, but it did not. A lot of skin came off and my skin feels very soft. I think this is a very good product for dry skin.

This is my second time buying this off amazon, and fourth time buying overall (twice bought directly from suppliers website).Great product, works everytime. I prefer the black over the white because of how well it holds up over time, and the overall look appears cleaner. Never had a sensitivity issue with the white version, but prefer the sensitive/black one purely for the colour.I use it longer than recommended, but never had an issue. Nothing exfoliates like this glove!

The first couple of times I used this product I was unimpressed. I didn’t get the exfoliation that I had expected. That being said I had tried to use it in the shower the first couple of times.After actually following the instructions and soaking myself in the bath and wringing the mitt out before use this prodict worked beautifully. It exfoliates spots I didn’t think needed exfoliating! I can’t wait to keep using it. You do need to experiment with the pressure when you use it, so that it works best for your skin without irritation. Everyone is different so follow instructions available that work for you, and if doesn’t work the first time definitely try again like I did.I will certainly be gifting this to my sisters this Christmas!

This is a great product for deep exfoliation however to use it properly, quite a bit of time is needed to soak your skin before getting the proper exfoliation. This means it canât really be used when you want to have a quick shower.The material is also pretty rough, which I understand is probably needed to get that exfoliation, however it can leave your skin a little raw.It also does have a faint smell of battery acid when itâs wet which I find really odd.I do find that $30 on an exfoliation glove is a little high, especially because I donât use it every shower due to time, but if you are someone who is okay to spend that time and use it more regularly, than maybe you may find it to be worth the money.
