Not so easy waxing!
The warming unit itself is alright, easy to set it up but the waxing part is a different story. Instructions are not complete and for a first time user it is a bit confusing to figure it out. I am still wondering if it is worth the hassle, besides the product brochure does not recommend how to order refills for the wax beads which is kind of prices. The melted wax hardens too fast before it spreads on skin! Not easy to use it by yourself, best to have someone else apply the wax quickly. I think I prefer my old waxing method.

This waxing kit came with everything one will need for a waxing job. It has four packs of hard wax beans (3.5 oz each), various applicators including two silicone ones, a pre waxing lotion (blue bottle), a post waxing oil (pink bottle), some rubber rings (don’t know what those are for) and of course the wax warmer.My experience using this kit:In the instruction booklet it says to put 3.5 to 11 oz of wax beans in the pot but I wanted to wax only my upper lip so I put enough just to cover the base of the pot.Then I plugged it in and tried to set the temperature to 150° following the instructions, but found out that it’s really hard to set the temperature precisely to 150° with the knob. It was getting to 151 easily, so I left it that way.After about 2 minutes, I checked and the wax still didn’t start to melt, so I followed the other way of melting the wax (also described in the instructions), which is to set the temperature to the highest until the wax is melted, and then reduce the temperature to about 150. This method worked better.Then, I removed the seals from the two bottles. Then using a cotton ball, I applied the pre-waxing lotion on my upper lip. I put the other bottle with the post waxing oil within reach.After the wax was melted, I used one of the silicone applicators to apply the melted wax on my upper lip. I am a seasoned user who uses waxing regularly to get rid of unwanted hair, so I did not find the hot wax unbearable, but a new user can feel it uncomfortable. Always apply wax in the direction of hair growth, as if from root to tip, and remove it in the opposite direction of the hair growth.I waited for about 30 seconds, and at that point, the wax was not sticky to the touch anymore. I gently peeled it a little from the end to make a grip, and then yanked it out. Hair was removed successfully! I followed with the post waxing oil. The oil is really good and something I always wished I had when I waxed earlier. I did not have any adverse reactions.Love this kit and the fact that it is complete and you don’t need anything else for a successful waxing session.

Great Wax Warmer
Bought the wax-warmer to begin self-waxing.The wax warmer itself is great, and easy to use. However, the wax beads that come with the warmer are not the best quality, but they get the job done.

Wax it all
This kit will wax every part of your body if you need. The warmer warms quickly and when set to the right temp it will not burn your skin (I like around 160). The kit has different beads and even nose pieces for nose hair. I love the fact that it comes with two reusable applicator sticks so I donât have to continue to buy stuff more than the beads and maybe some nose sticks. The wax comes off of the applicator sticks easily (I let it cool and it peels off). When I need to change to another wax bead I let that cool and put it in a baggie for later. Even the pot has a silicone lining for easy removal and clean up. I used the sprays for before wax and it may have been beneficial for the hair to adhere but Iâm not totally sure as I really didnât need it. The removal spray was great though. I would definitely pay this price for this kit!!

Great wax warming set!
This waxing set works really well for hair removal on body and face. You get two kinds of wax in the box- a white one that is good for more coarse body hair, and a pink one that is good for hair on the face. The warmer works fairly quickly- it took about 15 minutes to warm up completely. The wax spreads easily onto the skin with the included silicone spatula and dries within about 30 seconds. The thicker sections of wax peel easily and take the hair with them, but I did have some trouble with areas where the wax wasn’t spread as thickly. If you’ve got them, I would use waxing strips to prevent getting a bunch of wax residue sticking to your skin after waxing. The kit includes a lot of accessories that you may or may not use, but are nice to have for a variety of waxing applications, such as before/after wax spray oils, wooden sticks to spread the wax, and nifty little nose inserts for waxing the inside of your nose. Waxing my nostrils isn’t my cup of tea, but they’re useful to have.After waxing, I let the remaining unused wax cool, pop it out of the silicone liner, and store it for the next time I need to wax. I really like the warmer with removable liner. It works well for waxing, but I think it would also double nicely for melting soap for making my own custom bars of soap, or for melting wax to make candles. Yay for versatility!This kit is a really great value for everything that you get. Highly recommended!

Good waxing kit for home
This is a good little waxing kit for home that includes everything that you need in order to get started doing your own waxing and not having to go to the salon to get it done. This is not the largest melter but it just fine for most of the little jobs that you would be doing at home. I really like that it comes with everything that you need in order to get started right out of the box. The beads melted easily enough. I ended up turning the melter on high and then adjusting it down which worked great for me. Clean up was pretty easy as well. Overall, I really like this product and would recommend it to others.
