My husband told me to buy a shaver to alleviate razor bumps and I finally caved and bought this after lots of research. I am so glad I did! I have had this product for almost 4 months and didn’t have to charge it until a week ago. After charging, it continued to work well. I was worried that the shaver may catch my skin, having a buzzing machine so close to my bikini area made me nervous, but it has been effortless and pain free. On one occasion, it did catch in a longer hair and pull it, which was uncomfortable, but that has only happened once in four months. Since then, I have gone slower around sensitive areas. I use this once or twice a week on my bikini area to keep body hair short. I haven’t had any irritation or problems. It cuts close to the skin, just take your time on areas that are not smooth.I included a video to show the noise level. It is not silent, but is still much less noisy compared to a standard electric toothbrush.

Run, Don’t Walk to Buy This Trimmer
Prior to buying this, I’d primarily only ever waxed.The one time I attempted to trim, I bought a non-electric bikini shaver, and it gave me such a weird length cut that I felt like I was being pricked and poked until it grew out.It took me 10 years to get the urge to attempt this again.I cannot recommend this enough (so far.)Full disclosure: I haven’t used it all that many times yet, but it’s nice, simple, intuitive to set up and use, comes with great length options without overwhelming, and is easy to clean. It hasn’t rusted, nicked me, or caused any pain or weird sensations the way I previously experienced.The only thing which I think that people may not love about this trimmer is that it doesn’t have any place to store the hair, so you have to make sure not to clog the pipes if you shave in the shower.Otherwise, it’s well worth the money to me, and I highly recommend it….Edited to add: I bought this well over six months ago, and I still love it! I still don’t use it terribly often but it sits in my shower and unlike other products I’ve bought and reviewed, it hasn’t rusted or shown any signs of undue aging/wear and tear. I haven’t had to charge it yet, but again, I only occasionally use it.
