Worth the money
The Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser has been a game-changer for my dental routine! One of the standout features is the variety of tips it comes with, making it versatile for multiple users and specific needs. I really like that it has two modesâFloss and Massage. The Floss mode works exceptionally well, leaving my teeth feeling clean and refreshed. My dentist recommended keeping the water pressure at a 5 or below, which I find to be just right; it’s gentle on my gums but still effective.Refilling the water tank is super convenientâthe lid just pops up, making it easy to handle. I also appreciate that it’s a plug-in device, so thereâs no need to worry about charging. Overall, Iâm really pleased with this Waterpikâitâs simple to use, well-designed, and has made a noticeable difference in my dental care. Highly recommend!

Excellent flosser from a trusted brand
Water flosser for the whole family! As daily flossing is very important, this flosser is essential part of our dental health. There is 2 different functions on the flosser. The flosser has a intensity dial 0 to 10, option for floss or massage of the gums. There is an on /off button on the handle to temporary cut the flow while the machine is still working. It is very easy to change tips with a push option. like the fact that as you floss it makes minimal pauses to let you know to move to another quadrant, easily adjust intensity on the dial, water flow is perfect, has a different function for just massaging the gums and a tank of 600 ml , just enough for one person flossing. Add a cap full of your favorite mouth wash for a better experience. Exceptional value , specially if you can get it around holidays when it’s discounted.

Quality Product
PROS:- Great product. I previously owned an off-brand version of the Waterpik, but after buying the brand name, I quickly realized that it was worth the money. There are several attachments and it is easy to use. – For people with permanent retainers, it gets stuck food out with ease.CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE BUYING:- It is a bit more noisy than expected, which might be a concern for those who live in tight quarters or with people on different schedules.- I have sensitive teeth and I run my AC very cold, which makes water sitting in the basin colder than the ordinary room temperature. I dump out the water and refill it with room temperature/warm water (as recommended by instructions) before each use because of this. It isn’t a ton of extra work, but thought I’d mention it in case others have similar circumstances.

This version of a Waterpik has several nice improvements.
I had a previous version of a Waterpik that had some features that I did not like.My previous version had a magnetic attachment to hold the “pik” part. This was hard to align when trying to put the pik in its holder. This eliminated the magnet and made it just a holder which made it much easier to put back the pik in its holder. The previous Waterpik had a large button that required a lot of force to turn the Waterpik on and off. As the previous Waterpik aged, it got harder and harder to turn the Waterpik on and off. It eventually required two hands to try to turn it off. You can imagine how hard this can be when there is water being sprayed out of the pik and you are trying to turn off the unit. I eventually had to use the switch to turn off the water to the pik first then I could use two hands to turn off the unit. (One hand to hold the unit and the other to push the on/off switch several times with a LOT of force to eventually turn the unit off.)This new unit has a very small switch that requires very little force to turn it on and off. It’s so much better. The last has to do with the cover for the removable water reservoir. In the previous unit this cover was a standalone cover, so when adding water to the reservoir means that sometimes the cover would come off and would have to be repositioned to cover the reservoir. In this new model the cover is part of the base unit, and it has a hinge that flips the cover up without it being detached from the main unit. You can then remove the water reservoir, fill it with water, place it back on the main unit, and flip the cover down to cover the reservoir. No more fumbling with a standalone cover that can fall off and misalign. So, in summary, much better design. The basic reason of why I like my Waterpik to clean my teeth remain unchanged. When it operates it works extremely well. All my reasons for liking this unit have nothing to do with its basic function of how well it works to clean your teeth. All my previous versions as well as this version worked extremely well for cleaning my teeth.I am just happy that some “quality of life” features have been improved upon. I hope Waterpik reads my review so they realize that I am happy with the improvements they made to this Waterpik. I hope they don’t go back to some of the old design choices.

I also have a travel size – much better for travel – but this is best for a leave it at home on a counter designInstead of the typical travel models, if you need a water flosser for travel, I recommend the rechargeable Panasonic Ion model. It’s a little larger than a handheld, but still very very compact, and much better performing. It is equivalent performance to this cheaper, bulkier Aquarius model that needs to be plugged in to use. This Aquarius has plenty of power, lots of different tips – probably more than you will ever needI have found the waterpik water flossers to be more durable than their Panasonic competitionWe bought some water flossers after daughter got braces… now the whole family uses themIn the past when I would ask dentists if water flossers improve upon regular flossing or can be used instead of regular floss – they would always be uncomfortable, non-commital, and vague with their answers….For everyone in our family, after using these for a while, when it came time for our regular dental cleaning, the dental hygienist (DH) remarked how exceptionally well maintained our teeth were with virtually no plaqueWhen I replied that we were now using water flossers the DH admitted that they are not allowed to say water flossers improve your dental hygiene….. I didn’t press on why… but maybe it is a restriction imposed by their dental association? That said – you have to use them properly. My daughter was using this with the tip designed for braces. She had great hygiene from the biting surface of her teeth to the braces, but the other half of her teeth, between the gums and braces had lots of plaque. The waterpik is not to blame, my daughter’s sloppy hygiene was. She has now been told she has to focus on the entire surfaces of her teeth. No matter how good the tool, you still have to use it properly. If you don’t yet have a quality water flosser – get one! The countertop models are powerful enough, if you take care between your teeth to dislodge even stuck pieces of meat, and other things that tend to get caught between teeth. I used to check afterwards with regular floss – and found that handheld less powerful battery travel models, with smaller reservoirs, did less well with food particles wedged between teeth. The other bonus here, is that like the advertising says, the DH confirmed it’s also great for the health of your gums!In short I now consider a quality water flosser, together with a good tongue scrape, as essential tools for the best possible daily dental hygiene at home.If you want to splurge put a little mouthwash into the water in the flosser. Your mouth will feel every bit as clean as if you just came from the dentist !
