Not what I expected, better
I am in my late 40’s with extremely dry, sensitive skin. I have found most toners too drying to use, but like other luxe joie products so thought this would be worth a try.This comes completely plastic sealed so there is tamper protection. It is not what I expected.Most toners are watery liquids, and this is a clear gel. It is in a pump bottle, which makes it easy to dispense.I found this to be quite nice for my skin. I was surprised at how my skin just soaked it up, and it took two full pumps to treat my face and neck. Someone with less dry skin probably wouldn’t have that problem. It felt fairly moisturizing, and to my surprise dried without feeling tacky or sticky. Once dried my skin didn’t feel particularly moisturized, but it also didn’t feel stripped.I had no negative reactions from this — no redness, itching, burning or peeling.

Very Clean & Great For Oily & Problematic Skin
An interesting facial toner that has a very different texture than most other toners or astringents. Instead of being a watery liquid, this is a gel. Because of that, I find it so much easier to apply without the drippy mess of most toners. Looks and feels almost like an aloe vera gel except that it’s lighter weight and less coating. Doesn’t have any real smell to speak of either. It does contain lavender, but I had a difficult time smelling any. It’s just a very light and clean scent and skincare product that should be ideal for those with sensitive skin.Though I have mature combination skin, it’s really a great skincare product for me to use on my more oily days which I still suffer with from time to time. It’s very clean and helps to balance the skin. Does not clog the pores and works great even along my nose which is my most problematic area that can only handle certain types of skincare products. This is perfect because it hydrates without leaving any sort of oily or greasy residuals along the surface of the skin. Does not dry out the skin either. Clarifies while toning and helps to keep the skin cleaner all day long.Especially good for those with oily to normal skin but those with slightly dry skin might also like this toner for how clean and lightweight that it is. Those with dryer skin, of course, will still need to continue on with applying their favorite moisturizers which work extremely easily with this toner. Great for both men and women alike. Good for all adult age groups but I would also highly recommend this to teenagers and those with problematic skin issues.
