Reading through the reviews, I knew this was going to be a 50/50 shot of whether or not it was going to be effective. Iâve struggled with BV for 4 months, so I gave this a shot. Like many other women, after the first night I woke up to large white chunks coming out of me. It was disgusting, and disheartening considering the cost and the conditions in which they treat. I recommend sticking to PhD boric acid suppositories. These are ineffective and a waste of money.

Allergy alert: contains chamomile
For those of us with rye grass allergies or just chamomile allergies we can have an allergic reactions to things with chamomile in them – and this has chamomile in it listed as an inactive ingredient. I am assuming this is why on the third night of using it I could not sleep due to the tremendous itching until I took an antihistamine. Be careful if you have allergies. It was great until this happened but now it is no longer safe to use so I wanted to make others aware in case you have stronger allergies and reactions than I do, for your safety.

Used to restore healthy microbiome, now smells like yogurt.
I started using these after getting BV to help restore a healthy bacteria colony quickly. Oral prebiotic often aren’t super effective at reaching where they need to go. Since it was the first time in my life having BV I was so paranoid and scared about having to take antibiotics and not being able to reestablish a healthy biome that I was looking at the brand Seed which costs about $100. That’s a bit pricey for me but luckily I found these and figured worse case scenario I end up buying Seed afterall.After my round of antibiotics was over I used one of these tube’s every 2 days 3 times. Now I use them once every 2 weeks as a preventative measure. I’ve always heard that down there should smell like yogurt but mine never really did. Well now it does and it actually smells good in a way. Not that it smelled bad before but now it smells how they say that it “should” smell.It definitely does leave clumps that take like 2-4 days to go away completely. Use a panty liner and change it after like 2 hours if you do it in the day time. A surprising amount will come out and make you feel moist in an uncomfortable way. Inreally like this product and I definitely will be making another purchase very soon since I’m almost done with my box.I can’t say how well they do go people with yeast infections but it definitely works really well at restoring a healthy bacteria colony. Stick with it for like a month and the changes will be really noticeable. I also increased my daily consumption of fermented foods like Kimchi and yogurt so that may have also helped.
