How did we get our start?
As a mother of five girls, one of the most dreaded tasks is having to take out their hair elastic bands. I found myself struggling every day, ripping their hair and causing them unnecessary pain. Years of damaging my girls’ hair led me to find a way to make it all easier. I sat down one night, brainstorming different ideas for getting hair elastics out as easily as possible. That’s when I came up with The Pony Pick.
What makes our products unique?
An easy-to-use tool that helps get those painful hair elastics out without any damage. It works by slipping the band off your ponytail like a scissor, without having to tug at your hair. I designed the tool with my kids in mind; to be simple and safe at the same time. The blade that cuts through the elastic is tucked away very securely, so it won’t cut any little fingers.

Better than competitors
Ok, Iâm going to be honest. I tried as hard as I could to NOT buy these for the longest time because I didnât want to waste a single hair tie. But after years of struggling to get my daughterâs ties out of her hair, whilst she was complaining to no end and clearly not happy with me⦠I gave in. Not only did I buy this specific hair tie cutter (after lots of searching), but I happened to get another hair tie cutter from a different product that randomly included their own version it in their hair product set (I bought for that set for comb not the hair cutter). After receiving and trying both – this one is by far the superior product. It has a more quality feel (weight) and even design to it. I never imagined Iâd now be the owner of multiple hair tie cutters, but I find myself so grateful these were created.
