Perfect tool to beat lice! More info in review for lice problems!
I ordered this comb because I found about 15 nits and 4 to 5 hatchlings on my six year olds head. I was able to remove them with just my hands and the plastic purple comb that comes with the treatment shampoo but I wanted a comb that would last and would make my job a little easier. I ended up doing the 1 day shipping because I found out my 10 year old cousin was covered in lice and I wanted to be able to help her get it taken care of.I want to recommend a page for anyone dealing with lice, it’s called http://thenicelicelady.blogspot.com/?m=1 and she has the best advice. She helped me feel so much better about having to deal with lice and make it a task that may take some time but is actually effective. She stresses that there is no need to waste your time cleaning and washing everything the person with lice had come in contact with, you don’t have to do any extra cleaning. She also explains why the only tools you’ll need to beat the lice is a good fine tooth comb and some cheap conditioner.I took her advice and was able to try it out on my cousin, who has the thickest hair I have ever seen. My daughters hair is thin and blonde so it was easy to find the bugs on her but my cousin has dark brown/black hair that can’t even be brushed all the way through with a hair brush and has to brush it in layers. I could see a lot if nits on her but could not visibly see the hatchlings and found one adult louse when I checked her hair dry, the day I realized how bad she had them. That same night I used the purple came that came with the Rexall treatment they had tried, several times, and she was still plagued by the bugs. I did the very bottom layer of hair just to try and start the process and get her some sort of relief, I used the conditioner trick but the purple come was definitely not very good at grabbing onto the nits. On that first round though I filled up three paper towels of hatchlings and nits. If that purple comb or any fine tooth comb is the only one you have that will do also, just make sure you comb through it and get everything you can.The day I got the Terminator comb in I had her take a shower so her hair would be wet and then I put the top part up, not even half up half down since her hair is so thick. I completely saturated her hair in conditioner, I ran out and had to use a spray on detangler on the top part which worked okay but wish I would have had more conditioner instead. After I had her covered I began using the Terminator lice comb and right away I could see how well it grabbed the nits and the hatchlings that i couldn’t even see. She had so many that I worked for 2 hours and I know I haven’t got everything. The lice lady says to remove what you can and do it everyday until you don’t see any nits or lice, brush the comb through for 100 strokes but if you find a bug or nit start again at 1. Then when they are clear after 100 strokes you are supposed to do a wet check every 2-3 days for two weeks but if you find anything lice related the 2 weeks starts over.Okay, after I combed through the bottom layer the best I could I untied the top layer, before this I hadn’t seen any large lice but the first comb through I pulled out 2 big lice and some more small ones. Out of the top of her hair I found a lot of medium to adult lice. After I combed through the top layer to the point that I wasn’t finding really anything that warranted me messing with her hair much longer, I moved to the bottom to do a quick run through again to make sure any other big lice didn’t run down to hide in hair. After each comb through I wiped the comb on a paper towel and made sure there were no bugs or nits stuck in the teeth that would get put back in the hair. When you use the conditioner and comb through it will slide out of the hair on the comb which really helps the bugs to stay in one place while you are still working on the hair. I will be checking her again in Saturday the 23rd, I was going to check tomorrow but her head is a little sore from all the combing.I had her take a shower after I was finished to wash the conditioner out and to get anything I may have loosened with the comb out and washed away. I kind of looked through her hair by lifting up part of it and checking a couple places I knew had a bunch of nits before and I did not see anything. I know I did not get every single lice or nit, but the main thing is to dwindle their numbers and beat the cycle. I was so happy and she was too. This comb is worth every penny. The treatments were 8.00 dollars a piece and they didn’t even work. Go to that ladies blog and read. Do your research on these things and you will feel so much better and much more confident about getting rid of them for good. You just have to be a little nit-picky!! ;)As you can see there were some hairs that were pulled out but she is extremely tender headed and handled the whole 2 hours very well, those few hairs do not take away from the star rating because I know this product works and helped me get rid of a nuisance for my little cousin.

PLEASE READ IF YOU’VE TRIED EVERY OTHER MEATHOD AND NOTHING’S WORKED BECAUSE THIS WILL!!!
Here’s my horror story: After a “super-lice”¹ outbreak at my daughter’s school, and my daughter catching it, we spent a lot of money and time on so many different products to rid her of this horrible pest. We bought almost every type of over-the-counter lice treatment (most of which had a “lice and nit comb” include). My daughter has very long and THICK hair. The lice/nit combs included in the kits were almost always plastic, and even if they were metal, they were still very cheaply made. Needless to say, each and every one of them broke upon first use. So then I went to our local beauty store and bought a $10 lice comb they had that looked more sturdy and had the prongs very close to each other (so it’d hopefully pick up everything). Problem was, they would not glide through my daughter’s thick hair, not even in small sections with lot of conditioner. By this point we are months into the process and while she’d be good for a few days, it only took a week or so and she was infested again. I was at my wits end and started to worry about all the chemicals being continuously used on her (not to mention the damage it was doing to her hair). I started doing the natural coconut oil and tee tea oil remedy (Google it if you want directions). It worked great and the time between infestations was longer, but she still had them coming back. After a lot of research I realized she’s not re-catching the lice, but that all these methods just killed the actual full grown or baby lice, not necessarily the eggs, and those stupid cheap combs included weren’t pulling them out. So we were killing most the lice, but week or two later when those tiny eggs hatched we had an infestation again. I ordered this comb based off reviews and having tried basically everything else. I was hesitant that this comb would be like the one I purchased at the beauty store and not comb through her hair, but just get stuck and yank out her hair. HOWEVER, once I got it, I ran it through her DRY hair and it ran through smoothly, which was a surprise considering how close each prong was to another. So I was very hopefully. I then did the apple cider, coconut oil, and tea tree oil method (Google for directions, the apple cider loosens the “glue” type substance on the eggs). I then used this comb to go through her coconut oiled hair and not only did it glide through smoothly not matter what angle I was combing from (down, right, left, up) but it caught the eggs, nits, and tiniest, newly hatched baby lice (we’re talking so small I could only tell they were there by wiping on paper towel and using magnifying glass). I also made sure to start at the very root of her since the eggs attach near scalp. It was amazing (and gross) what this comb took out. I let the oil treatment sit over night (as recommend, and btw coconut oil is an amazing conditioning treatment for hair), and did one more combing in morning, althought there wasn’t much left after first combing. It has been months now and she’s FINALLY lice free with no re-infestation since the treatment using this comb! God, what a relief!!! What I realize is, all other combs weren’t simply catching all the eggs/nits/tiny newly hatched lice, which was the problem. No matter what treatment you decided to use (although I suggest all natural) a very thorough combing to catch the eggs/nits is crucial! And this comb is the only one that works at grabbing and taking out everything, hence you won’t then have future breakout in week or two. Don’t waste your time and money with any other combs, they aren’t designed like this one! I wish I would have used this one in the first place. Would’ve saved a lot of money, stress, time, and my child suffering. I can see why the professional lice/nit removal places that charge $$$ use this product. A+ review from me!

I purchased the Nit Free Terminator Lice Comb after a recent lice infestation, and I need to share my great experience with this product. After dealing with another lice outbreak in my household, I can firmly say that this comb is a game changer.First, go start a load of high priority laundry on hot wash and hot dry – I vote for the infected’s pillow cases and hats and a single stuffy. All other stuffies get bagged in garbage bags and put in stuffy-isolation for the next 2 weeks. Pour yourself exactly one stiff drink. You’ll need it. If you don’t drink, I recommend this time as the ideal time to start. Feed pets and have some dinner so that no one is hangry. Make sure the electronic devices are charged and you have ample lighting. If you haven’t applied the lice treatment, you should do that according to the package directions and wait till it has been rinsed out. For heaven’s sake, use an OTC treatment and leave the ivermectin and tea-tree oil to your scientifically illiterate cousin. Gather your supplies. Remind yourself that your kid didn’t mean to get lice. Don’t shame them. No shame, okay? Let’s do this. What this comb is (and isn’t):Nothing is a magic solution when it comes to eradicating lice from your household. You need multiple approaches in order to be successful. You are the general – you have tools, techniques, and strategies. Generals don’t cry. They plan effective campaigns. With any luck, a chemical treatment will kill all of the live adult and teenaged (nymph) lice, leaving some eggs. Do the chemical treatment according to the package directions to remove these first. If you’re looking to avoid chemicals by using this comb, please be aware that lice can lay up to 10 eggs per day and they use all 6 of their pincer arms to crawl around with startling speed on your beloved’s head.Basically, with this comb in your arsenal, you’re going to use it to meticulously seek and destroy the lice eggs – also known as nits. No remorse. No drama. With one sighting on your beloved’s head, your destiny was forged. Become the cold, hard, egg-killer that you were always meant to be. I know they didn’t cover this in pre-natal class and I’m sorry, but the Nit Free Terminator Lice Comb has got your back now.Design and Quality:The comb is well-constructed stainless steel and feels solid in hand. Both my partner and I used it comfortably – this is important to note as you will spend hours combing through hair. Literal hours. Cancel your plans – this is the reverse of Netflix and chill. Now that I think of it, it’s probably best to buy a two-pack of these combs if they’re still available and a big bottle of wine if you can have it delivered. No point in stooping to fight with your partner about who gets to use the lice comb – there are other ways to prove that you’re middle-aged.Effectiveness:This comb has proven to be highly effective both in our household and according to professionals. It’s particularly vicious on lice eggs (nits). Each of the comb teeth are constructed out of grooved stainless steel in order to shred lice egg casings when the comb encounters them – laying waste to the colony that Mama Louse was trying to establish in the warm comfort of your beloved’s scalp. I felt you smile at that, but the smile didn’t reach your eyes. Good. Good. The stainless steel teeth are sturdily mounted in the handle casing and the teeth have a superfine spacing that effectively captures a single strand of hair when used properly. This helps remove errant lice and corrals the hair and egg casings between the teeth for shredding. Unlike every plastic nit comb I’ve used in the past, this metal comb doesn’t bend or break easily, enhancing its durability. The handle provides a good grip, making it easy to maneuver through hair of all types, including thick and curly.A tool is only as effective as the one wielding it, so be sure to direct your Nit Free Terminator Lice Comb especially around their ears, the nape of their neck, the top of the head, and if your child wears a ponytail in a vain effort to thwart the lice, focus there too. But also focus everywhere else in a highly methodical manner. Focus as though its your new job. I’m sorry.Ease of Use:Using this comb is pretty easy. The product packaging indicates that the comb works best on wet, conditioned hair as this allows the strands of hair to slide through the teeth with less pulling. However, it’s much much easier to see the nits in dry hair with no conditioner – however, that is less comfortable for the person you’re treating. Whichever path you choose, please understand that you must take your time and stay patient and methodical to ensure you are thorough in your approach. Put on some soothing music if you can. Do some belly-breathing. If you have any favors to call in from friends, call it in and get assistance because now is the time. You’ll fatigue before you get all the nits, the sun will go down and you’ll be forced to start again tomorrow. There are plenty of great videos online on how to effectively use this comb without too much hassle while limiting further spread. Definitely worth a Google search.Cleaning and Maintenance:A huge plus to this comb is how easy it is to clean. After each use – actually, literally while I’m using it, I can wipe the comb to remove hair and check for lice and eggs, or dip it in disinfectant. When I’m done, I slam it in the dishwasher so that the ghosts of all the lice I’ve killed with it are sucked straight to hell and the Nit Free Terminator Lice Comb emerges as fresh as the driven snow, ready for the day’s battle. It’s Excalibur and you – we – are King Arthur. The kingdom needs us. This is our destiny. While this comb comes with a handy cleaning tool which makes it even simpler to scrape off any stuck nits or hair – I don’t trust the cleaning tool – at this point in my lice journey, I trust absolutely no one. If the universe hates you badly enough that you have more than one case of lice to treat, remember to thoroughly clean and disinfect Excalibur before moving on to unlucky Candidate Number Two.Downsides:This comb pulls hair. Again, this comb pulls hair. When you insert the hair between the teeth of the comb, there’s this ‘crunch’ sound as each hair shaft is directed upward to where the teeth get tighter near the handle. This is intentional and key to the comb’s working effectively.- Putting larger segments of hair in the comb is not advisable. Google the method, please.- Putting segments of hair near the open end of the comb teeth is not advisable. Google the method, please. If you have any charity left in your heart for whomever brought lice home, please be methodical and patient – if this comb is not used to specification, you’re needlessly setting up for repeat sessions, and quite honestly it’s only a matter of time before you have a midget rebellion on your hands. Now is the time for extra screen time as well as lots of love and sympathy; bring out the bribes for remaining still. Play the statue game. Play the ‘can I guess if you’re sleeping’ game. Play the ‘waiting for the bus’ game. Offer cash prizes.Overall Value:Given its effectiveness, quality, and ease of use, the Nit Free Terminator Lice Comb offers great value for the price. In comparison to other combs I’ve tried, this one stands out as a reliable option that is worth every penny. At this point, I would marry it regardless of whether it had been married before. Should shortages occur, I will horde its brethren and dispense Nit Free Terminator Lice Combs along with practical advice and commiseration like the Anti-Lice Fairy I guess I was born to be.Conclusion:If you’re dealing with lice, I highly recommend a Nit Free Terminator Lice Comb. It offers a really solid approach to decimate and desiccate nits. As I mentioned earlier, offers a significant advantage over other combs due to its robust and intentional construction. The Nit Free Terminator Lice Combs is now an essential tool in our household for when we inevitably need it again. You heard me, soldier. Winter is coming; better get yours while they’re still in stock.

😉😀Danke!Absolute Kaufempfehlung! 👍
