The only thing that really helped after wind burned eyes
I experienced a sudden extreme bought of dry eye months after starting a job that requires me to get in and out of many many cars after driving them for only a few minutes at a time. My eye problems started at the end of the summer where I had grown into the habit of, after getting into hot car after hot car, I would crank up the air conditioner sky high and the fan speed up as high as possible, and point the fan straight at my upper body and face. Because I was only in each car for a few minutes, I had the air blasting at me nearly all day. Further, during this time we had a few weeks where it was constantly windy. This all led to my eyes becoming extremely painfully dry (which has never ever happened to me before), so much so that I had to wear laboratory goggles in my home and motorcycle glasses outside and at work. I had to shut my eyes when walking because I could feel the air hitting my eyeballs like paper cuts. It was excruciatingly painful. I got gel eyedrops but those never lasted more than a few minutes at a time and still did not help as much as I needed. Then I bought this at my local pharmacy and, even though this is a night time eye product, I had no other option than to use this during the day and at night. After doing that for several weeks my eyes began to heal. Even now I use this whenever I feel that my eyes have been or may be exposed to prolonged wind or fans, and today my eyes seem to have recovered. Iâm very thankful for this product and will never go without it again. I try to carry it around with me wherever I go.Update: as of 12/18/24, the sides of the tube split open and began leaking out. I put electrical tape around it, so hopefully that will stop the leaking. I will still use and keep purchasing the product as itâs the only thing that helps me, but may handle it with more care so this doesnât happen again.

Fantastic for dry eyes!
A small amount is great for dry eyes. Very cooling and soothing. Works well to use before sleeping if you have dry eyes. Good value.

The BEST thing for dry eyes, simply requires a bit of patience
If you have dry eye disease like me and you sleep with a fan on, you know exactly how itchy and irritated your eyes can be when you wake up. Drops are great, but this is different because it is a thick gel that comes from a thin nozzle. It takes a bit of practice to get to where you either donât poke your eye or squirt it on your lashes (unless you are way more dexterous than I am), but perseverance pays off. Just be sure to use this as the last thing you do before your head hits the pillow because your vision will be blurry from the gel. However this is what protects your eyes throughout the night. Do not let my honest description on how to use it scare you off. I just want you to know in advance what to expect so that you do not give up on this great product like others I have known. I highly recommend it and I use prescription drops and gel drops during the day because my dry eye is severe. But this product is the only thing that keeps me comfortable at night and first thing in the morning. Try it and keep at it, you will not be sorry.

There’s drops, gel & ointment
I prefer the ointment at night when I sleep, it keeps my eye coated. I recently started to get a shot in my eye every 4-6 weeks bc of macular degeneration. I use the drops during the day, I purchased the gel, drops & ointment. The Systane brand is what the dr gave me when I left the office. I’ve had my 2nd round of shots, the Systane is very soothing & has almost an oil type feel which lubricates longer & better than other otc products. I also make sure to get “PF= preservative free” which is what my opthalmogist gave me. It’s very soothing. Again, the ointment works great for overnight keeping my eye lubricated. The price is a little higher than some, but very good quality & very soothing.

Excellent for dry eyes
This stuff is a bit expensive, but is the best for dry eyes. I use it as I live in a desert environment. Great as a lubricant at night

Well worth the money!! Works great!
If you ever had RCE then you know it hurts. Bad! After finding out what it was I was desperate for a solution. Well I found it. This ointment keeps my eyelid from sticking to my cornea all night long. I can’t believe I finally found something that works. Anyone complaining about the price has never felt the pain of RCE. I’d gladly pay $100 a tube to prevent it. For ~$14 it’s a steal.

The Best I Have Used
This lubricant is a bit lighter than other varieties from the same manufacturer. Thicker lubes tend to irritate my eyes, but this one does not. My preferred lube to avoid dry eye syndrome.

Good product
I have converted to Systane after trying literally everything for dry eyes. This works well. Does leave you blurry a bit in the morning. Try some different Systane products. Arrived quickly.
