Fantastic for the sun!
I always hated putting sunscreen on my lips, tastes terrible and really bad to ingest. Finally found a sunscreen for my lips! Yay!

No Chemicals
I ordered Sun Bum as an alternative to petroleum lip balms. I’ve only had these 2 sticks for a few days. They don’t say Mineral, just 30, but I assume it’s the same. Maybe an old label The product doesn’t have a taste, but it does have a strange smell, which verges on rancid, but it might just be the unscented scent. I might try something else next time unless I get used to it and it ends up working really well.

Best sunscreen lip balm!
My only complaint is that it sometimes leaves a white sheen on your lips but it absorbs quickly when you rub it in with your finger. Doesn’t smell bad or taste bad like some sunscreen lip balms

Hydrates, leaves a slight white film, not travel friendly
I wear lip balm regularly. As a matter of fact, I always have some with me. Tubes are placed in various areas around my house, I have one in my car, in my backpack and a couple tubes at work. I’m seriously never without it so I kind of consider myself a lip balm expert. The only thing most of the ones I use don’t have is SPF. Since I live in an area that is fairly sunny year round, you think I’d be better about that. Well, I’m looking to change that.I saw this Sun Bum SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen Lip Balm and read some of the reviews. They seemed overwhelmingly positive. I’m familiar with the brand and since it was covered under my HRA, decided to try this one out along with a few others. It glides on easily and moisturizes well, but it left a slight white film on my lips. Not my favorite but it did fade. It’s unscented and doesn’t have any flavor, which is good. I loathe lip balms with any type of taste to them. Good or bad. It has clean ingredients and offers great sun protection but it doesn’t withstand heat itself. If you like to carry one in your pocket, backpack or keep in your car, it will melt.I do like this lip balm but it has some negatives, as stated above. It made my lips feel soft and hydrated but it’s not travel friendly. I wouldn’t discourage buying it, but if you want a balm to carry around with you, I’d be hesitant to recommend it.

Hypoallergenic!!
Iâve struggled for years with an extreme allergy to most chapsticks. Iâve only ever been able to use Vaseline but every time I would go to the beach my lips would get sunburnt! So I decided to try this zinc based hypoallergenic chapstick & no allergic reaction!! Iâm so happy with this product & will definitely be buying more in the future!

This is the mess my lips have been left in since using this, I’m horrified! My lips burn, tingle and have developed such dry skin, I’m so much discomfort! I am now on steroids and under the care of the dermatology dept at Derriford hospital, since this picture was taken they have become far worse!!

This item came damaged and unusable. The stick won’t come up. And the worst part is it cannot be returned or replaced. Money lost. Very disappointed. If you value your money buy products that have a return/replace option.

Product was for gifts but they arrived with large barcode stickers over half the product which were difficult to remove & left a sticky residue – therefore not able to give as gifts. Small size tube for the price.
Nico Oei –
Will make good use of it and put my trust in applying this product to my skin.

The product although fully wrapped and within expiring date smells old, a bit rancid type of smell. Quite possibly caught some heat or wasnât kept in best condition. Unfortunately itâs not the kind of product that returns are accepted so itâs going straight to the bin. Not sure if Iâll try again.. as itâs not exactly cheap for a tiny lip balm.
