The fragrance
Inspired by liberated and wild friendship on a motorcycle in India. Through the jungles we rode amongst reeds of lemongrass, while the fields of vetiver were redolent with the pristine earthiness of the tropical jungle. Reminding ourselves of the sweet grounded union that exists among friends; lemongrass’ citrus overtones are kindred to those of smokey vetiver.
Approximately 0.25 oz of solid perfume.
This grounding scent is held in an enlivened green turbo seashell that matches the perfume’s confident spirit.

100% NATURAL ingredients
cold pressed, unrefined jojoba oil: allows for a slow release of scent.
beeswax: bonds the scent to the skin.
vetiver oil: (Vetiveria zizanoides) nourishing, strengthening and grounding. belonging to a family that feeds the world, the roots reflect this richness and produce it’s scent.
lemongrass oil: (Cymbopogon citratus) uplifting, refreshing and revitalizing scent was used to preserve ancient palm-leaf manuscripts in india.

Calming VETIVER ROOT & uplifting LEMONGRASS fragrances – this parfum gets invigorating citrus notes from organic lemongrass essential oil. Organic vetiver essential oil is nourishing, strengthening and grounding. Smokey and resinous evokes ancient tombs and temples. The earthy cloves dance with the resins, like the breath of a prayer, create an olfactory link to the dawning of civilized human society. Decadent and grounding. A refreshing floral fruit scent with grapefruit and heady ylang ylang. Effervescent harmony is suspended on the skin, prolonging Summer’s abundance in the fruit orchard. Firmly grounded and sensual. A rich resin base of frankincense and patchouli calls forth the forest and sacred temple. Combined with Rose Otto adds sweet and floral undertones. Dries down to the leathery scent of skin that has been amongst blossoms. The height of jasmine’s intoxicating scent is produced at night under the full moon. On lifted toes, these illuminating floral notes intertwine with transcending clary sage. Youthful and sparkling.

A Unique and Beautiful Perfume!
Received a Roots Rose Radish Vetiver and Lemongrass as a gift. l enjoyed it so much that I gifted myself with the Ylang Ylang & Grapefruit. Iâm so glad I did! It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I love its fresh and subtle scent which seems perfect for summer (or anytime really). Itâs such a beautiful gift…even for yourself.

Varied quality & no bag
I ordered two of the grapefruit/ylang ylang as Christmas gifts. The solid perfume in one was cracked, had some tiny, turquoise debris on it and itâs shell case was rickity, as if it was going to break the next time I open it. Neither one came with the little, cloth bag advertised in the photo, which was important to me for gift giving. The shells are pretty, but not worth $80 each.

great presentation but a bit disappointing on the fragrance
beautiful presentation/giftable piece. solid perfume goes on easily & is not really a “heavy” fragrance, but lasts a few hours. i would have given it 5 stars had it truly presented the myrrh & cedarwood more == it was a bit heavy on the clove. i would have liked this fragrance more if the 1st & most lasting note was not the clove. i’m hoping they come out w/a frankincense/myrrh scent in the future.

I SO wanted to love this….
I want a very gentle scent and I thought solid perfume might be just the ticket. It comes beautifully packaged in a natural shell case. It was a small amount which is what I wanted, sandly, it has virtually NO scent whatsoever. I tried to convince myself that it was just very delicate, but no, the scent disappeared after a application and just left a sad oily patch on my skin.Most definitely a huge waste of money.

Too expensive for what it’s worth.
It’s a decent size and would last very long. It smells good at first BUT, the smell has a very bad after smell, like stray cat’s breath. The color of the shells is kinda disappointing since I was expecting more of red or pink, but this is just plain white. Not worth 69$ at all. 40$ maybe. I don’t usually leave bad review, but this is just disappointing.
