Between the time…This review is for (their headline description):”Long Take Official Sandalwood Kneading Perfume 30ml Korean Cosmetics Vegan Perfume Solid Perfume Gift”Between the time I ordered this, and when it arrived, I lost my sense of smell.I love a good Sandalwood fragrance/product and have a favorite Sandalwood shower gel that, to me, is the standard of what Sandalwood should smell like.Let’s start with the look and the feel of this.It is a frost looking, opaque gel.It sounds funny, but it feels like it’s a *dry* gel.It’s a very comfortable, not runny, absorbs right in to the skin, product.There is no sensation, like cooling or warming when I put this on my skin.It is dispensed by squeezing the tube; the amount dispensed is well controlled by my squeezing, and the nozzle on the tube (so if you’re mindful, no waste).Since my nose is out of commission right now, after putting some on, I took that favorite shower gel I mentioned and opened the bottle.I had Misses Shops Too Much put her nose to the open neck of the bottle, smell it, and then, smell my skin where I had applied this.Me: Do they smell the same?Her: No.Do they smell similar?Her: Maybe; this (this product) is pretty strong smelling.Keep in mind, I had her nose right on my skin where I had applied this just a couple minutes before she “judged” it for me.That’s the best I can do for now, scent wise.When my nose comes back, I’ll update this review, if this item is still available.I’ve given a 4 star rating based on initial impressions and *perceived* quality, not on long term wear.I hope this review has been helpful and enables you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Nothing special
I’m a certified “frag head” and collect and use fragrances from around the world as a hobby. (Shout out to my “Brotherhood of Scent”, brothers if you happen to read this.) I say that to say I know and appreciate fragrance. I was very excited to see, try and gift this product to my wife.I’ve never seen or heard of a “solid perfume” before so I was intrigued. When I hear “solid” I think more to a deodorant or cocoa butter stick, but semantics aside it’s definitely not a spray and more “solid”. Ironically my daughter had said a week ago when we were cutting fresh basil that she wished she could bath in it and would make a basil perfume if she could. Imagine my surprise when I saw this then!When first uncapped it and gave a light squeeze, I got a palm full of clear oil. Uh oh! The product separated inside the bottle. There’s no real way to “shake” a squeeze tube so…What I ended up doing (after cleaning up.) was putting the cap on and “mashing” the tube back and forth best I could until the product came out opaque.As a lotion, it was pretty nice. The scent however, left me feeling underwhelmed. I was wondering if perhaps a key amount of essential oil came out with the first “surprise” and that changed the fragrance. However, no, it couldn’t have been because that “oil” had barely any scent to it. If it was a basil or vetiver oil, it would have been POWERFUL!Speaking of scent: In the opening, I can pick up the basil. It’s light, very light. That’s a shame to me because the Italian in my veins loves the scent of basil. I think it could be used by a perfumer in so many ways especially as a top note instead of citrus that is so commonly used. This was a miss IMO.Vetiver: One of my all time favorites! One of my most go to fragrances to wear is from Ferrari “Essence of Vetiver.” (Emilie Coppermann perfumer.) Vetiver is actually in the grass family and it’s the roots that are dried and the oils extracted from. Haiti is one of the best sources for it. A gallon of quality vetiver oil can go for a few thousand dollars to give you an idea. It’s not cheap, and that’s why there are synthetic dupes of vetiver that kind of work, but are NOT the real thing.I can’t find the vetiver in this scent, not even a synthetic version. I have vetiver, I love vetiver and it’s just not there. So what I am left with is a sort of generic “scented lotion” with a hint of basil. In that light, it works well and has a little more presence than a typical lotion but I would not class this as a “perfume.” My wife likes it, and will use it occasionally.It’s just not a perfume to me. Sorry.

ロングテイク 公式 サンダルウッド 練り香水 30ml 韓国コスメ ヴィーガン 香水 ソリッドパフューム ギフト【練り】香水とは言っても、半透明のジェルに近いようなクリーム状の香水で、ハンドクリームのように手軽にサッと使えます。サイズ感も丁度良く、バッグやコスメポーチにサクッと収納できます。香水は色々使った経験がある者として、こちらの練り香水の利点を書いてみます。まず、普通の香水のように液体でなく個体である事。間違えてこぼしたりスプレーする時に飛沫が思わぬところに付いたりという心配がありません。もちろん詰め替えも必要ないです。次に、使用量の調整が容易である事。香害という言葉があるように香りの好みは人それぞれで、自分がお気に入りの香りでも他人には気持ち悪くなるように嫌な香りの事もあります。先端が繊細なスポイトチップで米粒より小さい量でも出すことが出来、ほんの僅かな量でも使えます。液体だとワンプッシュをスプレーしただけでも結構な量が出てしまいます。デメリットは見つかりません。世の中全てのパフュームもコロンも、このタイプにして欲しいと思う程です。使用感はカシミヤの質感の表現を理解できるようなサラッと・シットリとして滑らかな質感です。香害を気にする私は1回に米粒程しか使いませんが伸びがよく、広げた部分もべた付いたりもしません。香りはサンダルウッドの香りはとても好きなのでこちらも気に入りました。落ち着いて上品な香りです。トップは森の土のような香りで次第にサンダルウッド特有の深い香りがしてきます。（少量使いなので）時折ふわっと香る程度で、とても癒されます。価格もパフュームとしてはお手頃です。ここ数年香りのアイテムは使っていませんでしたが、これなら使ってみたいと思わせる優秀な逸品だと思います。
