When Should I Use It?
For best results, we recommend the hair to be at least 1/5” long. This would typically be 14 days since your last shave or one month since your last sugaring or waxing procedure.
With one application, you’ll enjoy unbeatable smoothness for 2 to 4 weeks!
(For sensitive skin types, we recommend that for the first 48 hours after sugar waxing, you should apply a gentle moisturiser and avoid; tanning beds, hot tubs, chemicals, and perfume)

How Do I Prepare the Wax?
Simple! Just remove the metallic lid and place the jar in the microwave or a bowl of hot water. until the wax is warm and runny.
If you’re using the microwave, heat it up for 10-20 seconds. It should be warm to touch but not hot.
Hey! In some cases your Smooth Lab jar may arrive with the paste having settled upside down, and you may find the jar’s lid is stuck and cannot be taken off. If this happens, don’t worry! Just place the jar upright in a bowl of warm water, and the paste will slowly fall back down and you will be able to remove the lid. Easy!
What Do I Do Now?
Apply the paste onto your skin with the edge of the wooden spatula with a thin layer or with your hands.For best results, ensure you apply the sugar paste in the opposite direction of your hair growth.Apply the woolen strip onto the sugaring paste firmly. Smooth it out 3 to 5 times.
What Do I Do Now?
Rip the woolen strip off in a quick motion in the SAME direction of hair growth. It’s easier if you hold your skin taut with your other hand.Clean off the area with a damp cloth using warm water and enjoy your beautiful, super soft skin!

Best sugar wax kit!
I bought this back in 2020 and this is what kicked start my sugar wax journey! The packaging is a bit different now and it looks like they added a powder in the set but honestly is such a good deal. I make my own wax now but I still reuse the jar and fabric stips. This kit is so cute and would honestly buy this again whenever my materials need a re-up. Iâve gotten my moneys worth out of this even before the repackaging.Those who have trouble with sugar waxing themselves and say this doesnât work – probably doesnât know how to sugar wax. You need to research and look up how to use/do this because the technique is slightly different than normal wax.

contents don’t match what’s in the “Achiever” package! And the $9 wedge doesn’t fit the jar!
Was looking for an all-in-one package, saw that this was a woman owned came from LA/US-based.The pictures for this version of the product clearly shows multiple large sticks for the sugar wax, multiple strips of the cloth, and of course the jar of sugar wax.What came however, was one large stick one small stick, two cloth strips, the sugar wax, and the smooth Lab wedge, the one that’s sold separately for $9, even in the often bought together section of Amazon’s page, it shows purchasing this kit the wedge and some additional strips.I figured from the picture that there were five or 10 cloth strips which would be enough to get me started, but with two it’s next to impossible.I purchased a wedge, that now I didn’t need because the package came with one. Oh, and that wedge?, it doesn’t fit the jar. So the wedge is really not usable unless you want to pour the wax out onto the wedge and try and put it on that way. I’ve already broken one of the tongue depressor type wood sticks so now that’s a problem.Very disappointed in this purchase. Smooth Labs should pull the pictures and get them properly set up and should properly list exactly what’s coming in the package! Until they do that I wish I could rate this a zero star! Very disappointed!

My new favorite sugar wax!
I absolutely love my new sugar wax! It’s super awesome and is very easy to use. There is a neat users manual that guides the new user through the process. The wax itself is very smooth and clear without of any additives or artificial colors. It removed all the hair right from the first attempt and I barely noticed how quickly and easy all the thing was. Overall, the quality of the product is superb and I’m glad that I decided to purchase it.The package is not only beautiful but also is very well made. It protects the glass jar from being damaged during shipping. And I can’t leave out the cool design that makes me want to purchase other boxes too next time just to collect them all. By the way, the jar has a cute pattern too and I can keep using it even after I run out of the wax.But what I like the most about this particular wax is that it’s made here in the US and is organic. Also, all the materials used are very green and good for the planet. It’s basically glass, paper, wood, wool, and sugar!This is definitely my new favorite wax!

The consistency of wax isnât great. It is thick to work with.
I understand it is hard to make this product right. I like waxing at home with sugar wax instead of the other types of wax out there. I have the wax warmer. I decided to try this kit instead of going with my fav. It is hard to get the wax out of the container even after heating in the microwave. It dries quickly on the skin and doesnât stick properly to hair to remove them effectively. Overall i donât like the thick consistency which makes it hard to work with.

Opened the top of the box that the contents came in and to my surprise a cloud of white dust flew everywhere. Scared the heck out of me and sometime after had to go to the Emergency room because my eye was bleeding. Not sure if the powder flew in my eye or if it was just a coincidence. Realized that there apparently was a container with powder that came along with the sugar mask but the container was empty because the powder ended up all over the place. As far as the sugar wax, great looking butâ¦.. my eye and the powder mess and the whole white powder substance through the mail-uhm no.

Only 2 reusable strips and 2 popsicle sticks, but great product.
Unlike the photo, you only get 2 reusable strips and 2 popsicle sticks, and the popsicle sticks get flimsy after a couple of uses.Other than that, great product.

Great starter
I had a professional sugaring done and like the concept but wanted to do it myself. Never done it before but this kit made it pretty darn easy. Also if you make a mess itâs easy to clean with a warm wash cloth. My skin is super sensitive and I didnât react. Having slightly more detailed instructions would have been helpful but I learn by trial and error so ð¤·ð»ââï¸ thatâs on me.

Best sugar wax I ever tried
My skin is very sensitive and itâs hard for me to remove the hairs, so I was a bit skeptical about the idea that I could pull my hair out and it wouldnât irritate my skin. I was SHOCKED at how little sugaring hurt and how smooth my skin was afterwards. Shaving always left me with painful razor burn and so many little bumps, only for the hair to grow back by morning. Iâve been trying different kind of way to get rid of hairs, but this product is my favorite so far. My skin looks so much better after using this sugar wax vs strip wax and definitely great alternative to shaving . No Ingrowns or irritation! This is fast, doesnât hurt, and is SUSTAINABLE. Easy to prepare it in microwave, super easy yo clean with a warm water , no messy . Iâm into my second week, and Iâm still smooth. Overall it’s a great product and I’ll order more
