Perfect little brush
I’ve had this brush for nearly two months now. I haven’t had any problems with it! It looks exactly like the seller’s photos, with blond wood, a white cushion, and green branding along the handle. It came intact and nothing has broken yet. The wooden bristles are smooth without any jagged edges, so the brush glides through my hair nicely. I use it several times a week, if not more frequently. I primarily use it in the evenings for dry detangling before using a boar bristle brush to distribute sebum. I clean it every few uses with shampoo and water and leave it to dry face down (wood bristles facing down) on a thin towel. I have fine, thin, shoulder-length, wavy hair (it vacillates among 2A, 2B, and 2C), and find that it works well for me. It’s a lovely little size and this brush will be easy to pack for trips.

Bristles Are Not Real Wood.
After having used some wooden combs awhile for my growing hair and really loving how they detangle so smoothly and effortlessly without snagging and pulling on my hair as much as the plastic combs do, I decided to try this wooden brush for more effective detangling of my longer hair.At first this brush had me completely fooled. It worked well with very few snags and seemed to be wood everywhere except for the base for the bristles (which was completely understandable). However, after using this for about a month, I started noticing that the bristles seemed to be pulling way too much for wood. On further inspection, I noticed that the bristles are not in fact wood, but some kind of imitation plastic. Better than any other type that I’ve seen before, but it was not wood and the only thing that seems to be wood at this point now is the handle. Not only that, but the brush is basically useless for me now since it is pretty much pulling and snagging my hair only slightly less than any of my previous plastic detangling brushes.I’m very disappointed at having been mislead here. Had I known that it had plastic bristles, I would have never bought it and now I’m stuck looking for a replacement…but hesitant to try any other similar brushes here on Amazon in fear that they may be like this one. May just have to go to a wooden pick instead now as I’ve fairly sure that many of those are made with real wood bristles.

perfect for my 2 yr old’s hair
I brought this hairbrush in the hopes that it would work similarly to another one I have at home. However, it didn’t pan out that way. The hairbrush is okay, perfect for my 2 yr old’s hair, but it’s a little hard so it bothers her when I brush her hair, she has really curly hair that is easy to tangle unless it is brushed. She doesn’t have a thick head of hair either, but it works fine for now, I guess.

I can brush my hair without static electricity; simple to clean (I haven’t had to); doesn’t pull my hair out; and the very best thing about this brush is that after washing my hair, and I don’t use conditioner, my brush smooths out the tangles with never a pull or tug. There are no pulled-out hairs in my brush, ever.
