Don’t use on your neck
I gave this 5 stars for what it is, a head shaver. It works great on my head, ok on my face but horrible on my neck. I have used my Pitbull 3 times now so I have enough information for an accurate review.The Pitbull gets my head as clean as you can get without using a blade. I can still feel stubble but it is way closer than my Remington Shortcut clipper with no attachment. I have a few moles that were a problem with the Shortcut clipper as the blades would snag the mole and it would bleed sometimes. The Pitbull goes over all the moles and leaves no nicks or irritation at all. I can not get 3 or 4 hairs above each ear and have to use a razor to get them off.I tried it on my face and it makes for a pretty smooth shave. It is not possible to get close enough to my goatee so I still have to use a razor to get the stray hairs.Then there’s the neck. Don’t do it! Unless you have blond peach fuzz. My neck looks like somebody choked me. It was bleeding in a dozen places. Same thing on the back of my neck below the hairline. I even ordered some Jack Black Beard Lube and this stuff is super slick. Didn’t help, probably made the irritation even worse due to the blades getting even closer to my skin.I will go back to using a twin blade for my face and neck. Never again will I use this anywhere near my neck. Thank goodness I had some coconut oil to put on the razor burn because it was burning bad.The Pitbull arrived 100% charged and after 3 uses it is still right above 50%. It is easy to clean. I was trying to separate the blade head after removing it from the shaver. I couldn’t get any leverage on the chrome surface to crack it open. After watching a video, they separated the head with the head still attached to the shaver. Hopefully doing that a million times doesn’t break the small attachment under the head. You can also submerge the head in water while it’s running to clean it.If I didn’t have moles on my head I would just use a blade. The other thing that is a pain is that you have to shave your head every 2 to 3 days because it won’t shave off longer growth.

All Shavers are not the Same
Like many men who start shaving their heads, I spent several years using a traditional safety razor. Bumps, nicks, and general irritation were constant hassles for me.Then a friend turned me on to the Flex Series Shaver from Freedom Shavers. It worked far better than a safety razor and caused far less irritation (not 100% less, but significantly less). However, within 6 months, the first one died. Wouldn’t turn on, wouldn’t charge … just dead. I figured it must be user error, so I purchased a second one. Within 4 months, it died. So I gave upon that shaver and decided to try the Pitbull Gold Pro.Immediately, as soon as I opened the box, I knew I was dealing with a higher quality item. They smartly included a water-proof charging port plug to avoid water damage in the shower. Admittedly, it was larger in size, which makes it a little more unwieldy than the Flex Series. But it offers a couple of different ways to hold it while shaving – holding the top and palming the blades. I love the digital display that shows the charge percentage. And you can really tell they’ve used quality parts in it. Not as much of that cheap plastic that the Flex Series is built with.But the big difference is in the shave. I could never get a decent dry shave with the Flex Series. Ever. No matter how many passes. But with the Pitbull Gold Pro, the DRY shave feels as close as the wet shave with the Flex Series. And the wet shave feels as close as a straight razor. I’m thoroughly impressed.Of course, this early in the game, I can’t speak to the Gold Pro’s longevity, but I’m very happy with my purchase from a shaving perspective. I’ve yet had to deal with swapping out the blades (which I had to do every 20 shaves with the Flex Series), and I haven’t had the battery run out yet.In short, I would recommend spending that additional $15 or so and upgrade from the Flex Series to the Pitbull Gold Pro.

Started shopping when my Philips 5000 series stopped working after 5yrs. I used it to close-trim my head as well.While Pitbull seemed great, I was super skeptical at first due to the price tag of $198+13% Canadian tax.BUT, after using it once, while I still feel it is overpriced, it could be an absolute must for someone like me who would love the following:- No hair spill- Quick and efficient- Great battery. Took 3 to 4 minutes to shave my head and I still have 94% left.- Low motor noise- Almost close shave- Easy to hold, use, and clean- Waterproof, with the ability to use with cream/foam and also in a showerVerdict: Go for it if you can afford 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽Concerns:-Will it work for at least few years? I hope so. Can’t spend this kinda money every year.-Doesn’t work perfectly around the ear-sideburn part. And, will not recommend this for facial hair, you need a different shaver/trimmer for that.

The baby beast trimmer just stopped working after 5 times use. It doesn’t charge anymore and doesn’t switch on.
