Gentle exfoliation, but soap hungry
I have sensitive skin that needs exfoliation, but I’ve struggled to find something that works without causing irritation. Saw one of these silicone body scrubbers and figured I’d give that a try.This works really well in the sense that it cleans my body without triggering a reaction or outbreak. It’s easy to keep clean, and the strap on the back does help me keep a handle on it throughout the bathing process.This sucks in the sense that I’m needing to figure out a new soap situation or change my steps, as pumping my liquid body soap directly onto the brush means a lot of it sinks into the nooks and crannies and doesn’t foam up or touch my skin. And this doesn’t feel great on my skin when it’s just the brush and hot water – I need the slight slippery glide that soap gives.So I like it, but I’m trying to figure out how to use this without needing to waste a ton of soap. Silicone brushes have their pros and cons, and a big one for me is that they’re silicone and don’t hold soap well or foam up like a sponge or loofah. But it’s soft and doesn’t scratch up my skin, so… yeah, pros and cons.I might need to switch to a cheaper body wash I can buy in bulk.

I was in misery my skin from my face down was itching, and extremely dry.It did lather up well easily handheld very well made I think I might have used the wrong gel or something.

Nice body scrubber but better for bigger hands
I’ve used a few of these silicone body scrubbers. It was the strap across the back of this one is what appealed to me. And the strap is nice. But I find the shape of this scrubber harder to hold than the oval shaped ones – even without a strap. But my son prefers this model; his hands are much bigger.The bristles are great – just the right length and stiffness – for exfoliating. A good scrub feels exhilarating without damaging your skin. It works great with bar soap — lather it on and then use the brush to scrub and exfoliate.
