Great moisturizer
I have been consistently using SheaMoisture Balancing Moisturizer to address dry skin. It effectively hydrates my skin, however, I have experienced discomfort in the form of burning and stinging sensations around my eyes while applying the product. Iâm confused regarding the presence of irritants in a facial cream, as it seems illogical. I deducted one star from the overall rating for this. Despite this issue, I still consider SheaMoisture Balancing Moisturizer to be a good option for addressing my skincare needs.

I’ve been searching for a moisturizer that wasn’t too heavy but still did it’s job. This isn’t watery and not too thick. It’s light enough to wear in the summer and substantial enough to cover in the cool months. It smells awesome and the price is good. Will continue to use.

Let me start off by saying I’m a White pale ginger with sensitive troubled skin, and there isn’t a product that can compare to Shea Moisture. The African black soap products are amazing. Best daily moisturizer, wash and soap there is! Try this product!

Cracked bottle
Love the product⦠the packaging?⦠Not so much. I ordered two containers of this product and one of the glass containers was cracked. Luckily, I was finishing another container and will be able to transfer the cracked container to the old one I have.

This is a combo review for the moisturizer and the Shea Moisture black soap. I am in my 40s and have suffered with adult acne for YEARS. I have tried EVERYTHING over the years, including prescription antibiotic gel, Proactiv, BC pills, and just about every other product, and nothing has ever worked. Nothing. I believe my breakouts are mostly caused by hormones, so I was just about to give up and accept my skin. I have combination skin, but it’s very sensitive. Even supposedly hypoallergenic products didn’t help.Well, after only a few days of using this moisturizer in conjunction with their black soap and toner, my face is completely bump free!! I bought the soap first, and I had a moderate breakout the very first day and figured it was another dud. Boy was I wrong! The soap is drying, so I needed a great moisturizer and this was it! After using this moisturizer and the soap, I am clearing up very nicely and maybe now some of these old acne scars can finally heal. It’s not greasy feeling on your skin like most moisturizers, and it absorbs very quickly so I wasn’t sure it was going to keep my skin hydrated, but so far it’s great. My skin is soft and shine free, and makeup goes on great after using it. I love this line!!
