The only downside is the quality of the razor but even like that I used for a while year before buying one with better quality. The bowl, the brush, the creams, all are top notch.

Starter kit
This is my first venture into using a safety razor. Like many of the other reviews, I too found the shaving bowl too small. Also the supplied razors work but, so feel like they grab the hair.I personally like the pre-shave oil, shaving cream, and after shave lotion. The sandalwood scent is subtle (the wife on the other hand, does not like it and it actually causes her to sneeze when I’m near).I haven’t used the beard hair apron since my bathroom mirror is small and I can’t attach it anywhere.The razor itself, feels nice in the hand. See my first paragraph for thoughts on the blades.For the price, it’s a good starter.If your like me and new to this type of shaving, take your time!! Watch a bunch of videos to properly shave and reduce nicks.

This shave kit is good and includes everything you need to get started in the world of double-edge shaving. The double-edge razor is, I think, a Bali, but it could be something else. It also comes with razor blades, shave soap, etc. Just be careful and go slow when shaving. You can add things as you go if need be. Most items out of China as said in box and the blades it came with.

Seit Jahren habe ich bereits mit dem Gedanken gespielt, von meinem alten Nassrasierer endlich mal zu einem Rasierhobel zu wechseln. Mein Problem bisher – ich bin ein absoluter Grobmothoriker. Deshalb habe ich den Hobel bisher immer gemieden, aus Respekt vor der Rasiermesserscharfen Klinge an meiner Kehle.Wie sich aber herausstellt, schaft es selbst ein Kerl wie ich mit zwei linken Händen, sich mit diesem Rasierhobelset zu rasieren, und das mit Leichtigkeit.Selten hatte ich eine so reibungslose und saubere Rasur wie mit diesem Set. Lediglich mein Barbier des Vertrauens Schaft es noch etwas sauberer. 😉Zur Qualität des Sets selbst kann ich nicht wirklich viel sagen. Es macht einen guten Eindruck und beinhaltet alles, was man für die Nassrasur mit einem Hobel braucht. Allerdings ist das mein erstes Set, weshalb mir ein wenig der Vergleich mit der Konkurenz fehlt. Aber der Preis ist für das was man bekommt definitiv mehr als angemessen!Die Rasur selbst läuft eigentlich sehr selbsterklärend und intuitiv ab – wenn man darauf achtet, den Rasierer gerade und ohne Druck über die Haut zu ziehen, kann eigentlich nichts passieren. In sofern kann ich jedem, der schon einmal mit dem Gedanken gespielt hat, sich einen Rasierhobel zu kaufen, empfehlen, sich einfach mal an diesem Set hier auszuprobieren. Ich habs gemacht und war positiv überrascht.
