Highly Recommend, you won’t regret it!! ð¸ð«¶ð½
Recently I began taking a Tahitian drumming and dancing class with my teenage daughter. I was introduced to this oil through our classmates. This oil is a godsend!! I use it after my showers or before I go outside in the sun. It has HEALED my skin!! It goes on smoothly and keeps my skin moisturized!! It definitely lasts all day!! And the smell…. PHENOMENAL!! It’s the most beautiful jasmine paired with light coconut fragrance. I have the Vanilla, Tiare and this one, while they are all delish smelling, this one is MY FAVð¸ð«¶ð½The only thing I would point out (And I believe the source of any negative reviews) this oil is PURE so it solidifies somewhere around 68-72 degrees. That’s TOTALLY NORMAL!! I just run it under hot water for a minute in the sink or if it’s for after shower, I just leave it out next to the shower while I’m showering and by the time I get out it’s completely liquefied again. I highly recommend this oil!! My skin…. Like touching a cloud!! (Oh and I have no science to back this up….but my stretch marks….on my stomach and the backs of my legs….healing….is it this?!? I haven’t introduced ANY other changes to my routine….Maybe?! I’m HUGE into the healing power of plants, maybe the Tiare flower is good for stretch marks?! I have much research to do and will update my review once I have any info on this theory. This oil smells divineeee. Itâs a relatively mild scent when applied but still strong enough to smell, not overpowering at all. Itâs definitely a sweet vanillay scent but not like a bakery scent, itâs a very natural vanilla scent with some fruit notes as well. If you wanna smell like vanilla but not like a bath and body works body mist is seeping out of your pores, buy this oil (no shade haha). Iâm pretty picky when it comes to oils, perfumes, etc. but this is a 100/10 product. It also leaves my skin so moisturized and soft without being greasy/leaving residue. Will absolutely repurchase!

I’m glad to have tried this lovely Monoi coconut oil! I find the history behind its use in French Polynesia fascinating and how it’s a special authentic Tahitian import. I desperately needed a winter pick-me-up and a good moisturizer (it’s been a dry season.) This is my first experience ever with coconut oil for moisturizing. I had heard of Monoi before related to the Carol’s Daughter hair products, but didn’t know the full story. This stuff is special to Polynesian culture, between rituals and beauty essentials. Monoi is exclusive to the Polynesian islands and is made by infusing coconut oil with Tahitian gardenias. There are strict guidelines and quality standards which assures a great product. Monoi has many benefits and is said to be hypoallergenic or at least low allergy risk.Anyway, I’ll cut to the chase. I get lost in being a beauty nerd! I’ve only had the stuff for a day. It’s wise to order during winter because it arrived solid and there was no mess. You can liquefy the oil by running under warm water, but it’s somewhat time consuming to warm all of the bottle’s contents. Besides, a little goes a long way and less melted means less mess & waste. I learned not to hold over candle heat, it’s unpredictable and now my bottle has a warped spot. The best method for me is to set a tin lid on the radiator and set the bottle on that. It’s a subtle and sure way to melt the oil. You can even scrape a little solidified oil from around the top and it melts on skin. I know the melting descriptions are extensive, but just admit it’s fun to play around with. This is a lovely moisturizer and the oil spreads well and soaks right in. Skin is left soft with no residue and delicately scented. I really like the sandalwood fragrance; it’s not heavenly like I expected but it’s still a beautiful smell, a floral gardenia sandalwood blend. I used a small amount to moisturize my face (combination skin) and it doesn’t break me out! Nor did it break me out on my body. I used a little too much on my wet hair so it is day two oily; I’ll have to play around to see the best method to use it on my hair. As for tanning use, I don’t bother with sunning–it’s the worst thing you can do to your skin. Overall, a special multitasking beauty product worth trying. I like it a lot!

This Monoi is for those that find the regular tiare scented version tooâ¦. potent – or at least too floral. If this is you, and youâd like something a little more subtle, this is the scent for you.The fragrance is not overwhelming or too woody or too powdery or too anything! I would described it as a nice soft, skin scent. Suitable for anyone who wants a subtly fragranced product. This is so subtle (on me anyway) that it wonât clash with any other fragrance I choose to wear.The oil is typical coconut in that itâs an oily oil (anyone who uses oils will know what I mean) but absorbs quickly into the skin. And yes, it does solidify under 70°. And second yes, there is the tiare flower in this version as well. And a little goes a long way so it is a great value.My favorite version of Monoi. Definite repurchase.

I think I know why there were only two left, and most of the 1-star reviews say the same. This has only one scent: rancid coconut oil. Iâve smelled the product in the past and it was lovely and subtle. This is sour. Since coconut oil can go bad, especially left at higher temperatures, Iâm quite sure thatâs whatâs happened here. Quality control let it change temperatures a number of times.I hope I can return it even though itâs opened, or at least get a substitute, because I wanted an extra summer moisture âkickâ as we approach September.

ho ritrovato qui un olio che amavo tanti anni fa e che nei negozi non trovavo più, stessa bottiglia, stesso profumo, olio vellutato e aromatico, ne basta poco e lascia la pelle morbida e idratata. profumo dolce, la base è olio di cocco, quindi solidifica a basse temperature – io invece di metterlo ogni volta sotto l’acqua calda, lo scaldo la prima volta e ne verso metà del contenuto in un barattolino basso e largo (tipo quelli della crema), così di volta in volta prendo la quantità che mi serve con un cucchiaino o la punta di un coltello: col calore delle mani si scioglie subito e lo trovo più pratico

Ich mag süsse Düfte, aber dieses riecht nicht zu süss, eher angenehm und weich.Nach dem Duschen/Baden auf die noch feuchte Haut auftragen. Oder als Pflege ins feuchte Haar geben und später ausspülen miz Shampoo.Das Ãl wird bei “Kälte” fest und bei Wärme, oder wärmerer Umgebung flüssig. Ich habe es angewärmt im Badewasser und dann eine kleine Menge im leerem Cremetiegel abgefüllt. So kann man es besser entnehmen. Leere Tiegelchen bekommt man im Drogeriemarkt.Das Highlight ist die kleine Blüte in der Flasche selbst. Ein richtiger Hingucker.Tolles Ãl, leckerer Duft! Wird weiterempfohlen und nachgekauft.
