Customers say
Customers find the hair brush has firm bristles that get through thick hair to the scalp. They appreciate its sturdiness, durability, and ability to reach the scalp. Many find it soft, value for money, and functional. However, some have mixed opinions on the bristle stiffness and size.

Best Brush ever!!!
I had been looking for this brush for years! This is my favorite hair tool. My hair is thick (texture of Yaki Hair) and this brush is excellent. It doesn’t pull the hair out, it’s durable and feels good to the hand. Works on any hair length and texture. Definitely worth the purchase.

Great brush!
The brush is smaller than I expected, made of very sturdy plastic and I am not expecting it to break any time soon, like most other brushes. It doesn’t just graze the top of your hair but digs in to massage the scalp and clean the hair. Very happy with this purchase!

Old time Stiff bristles
The brush is made with stiff bristles like hair brushes used to be made. The handle is shorter now but isn’t a problem and I don’t have dainty hands.Easy to clean.

Do you miss the old, stiff bristled Goody brushes of the past? This is the brush you want.
My hair is very dense and wavy, and most brushes don’t work well for me. The bristles bend too easily, so that only the top layer of hair gets brushed. The brushes with little knobs on the ends get stuck in my hair.Growin up I used the Goody hairbrushes with the nice stiff bristles, but they stopped manufacturing them, and eventually my last one broke. I found a Diane brush that was almost as good, but they also changed their product to use softer bristles. And then I found this Scalpmaster brush, and I think it may be even better than the Goody brushes from back in the day. The bristles get all the way through my hair to my scalp, and with just a few strokes all the tangles in my hair melt away. This is the perfect hairbrush for me – and it’s so affordable! I would have paid 10x this much to get a brush this good. I bought six already, and may buy more just to make sure I’ve always got one of these brushes handy every day for the rest of my life on this earth.

Best brush ever!
I ordered 2 of these brushes and just ordered a third. The size is perfect for purse, travel, or bathroom. It is sturdy and goes through my very thick hair. LOVE it!!!

Bristles Curl Up
Purchased this brush as a replacement for one I lost. The older one was perfect; however, this oneâs bristles are curling. Itâs soft and does the job, but for how long?
CA GALIP –
firm but what I wanted
Good if you look for firm bristles

Excellent
This brush is just as wonderful as the one that my mama had when I was a little girl a real brush that feels good on your scalp gives it a good scratch or massage as you brush your hair, releasing all of the tight curls you have.

Doesnât work well with my super curly hair

It’s ok but it’s pretty scratchy

The handle is too small. Not made for adults. The bristles are sharp and hurt the neck, when trying to curl hair under. I don’t use it. Waste of money.
