What oil?- It advertises, âPrevent allergyâ insinuating people wonât be allergic. I was allergic to this item.- Item made me all itchy- Long heat up time for wax- Makes a mess- Didnât work as well as similar items I have tried- No Honey in ingredient list, misleading description- Didnât care for the Lavender aftercare oil â I prefer unscented items- More trouble than itâs worthNot worth it!I tried out this Wax Pro roll on waxing kit and was very excited to see how it would work for me! I often go and get professionally waxed when I decide I want some extra pampering. The idea of doing my own wax session at home seemed worthy of a try and I grabbed this kit to give it a go.After trying this out I need to tell you all I think I am going to leave it to the professionals!First thing worth mentioning is I am super sensitive. My skin is sensitive, I have a lot of allergies, and have to be really careful with the quality of items I use and put on my skin. Even added fragrances can give me reactions. I got this kit all out and ready to go, I reviewed the instructions and waited for my wax to be ready. It took an unusual long time over 30 minutes for my wax to reach a level I was able to spread it. That seemed unusually long, but I did read another reviewer say it took them 45 minutes!I think I would have preferred if this had included some additional accessories. I know this is a roll on kit and they arenât supposed to be needed but some wooden sticks still would have been nice.I only did a very small area on one of my legs and a very small amount to start off with. Sadly for me I was allergic to this item basically right away. My sensitivities got the better of me, so I was only able to try one little area before having to stop. My skin is still angry with me. I wish the ingredients had been more specific. For example it lists âEssential oilsâ Okay well that is a huge list of potential oils! That could be anything! If you are going to say your item is allergy friendly I think you need to be more clear on the ingredients.I did appreciate that I could plug the item in. That they included the strips and wax and it wasnât just the machine and I was left having to buy the supplies.But after trying it out, the fact it was overly messy, lack of ingredients listed, and my skin not responding well to it, I just didnât have a good experience with this item.

Can be sticky but it works!
I was a little bit skeptical and very much terrified of using this even though I had wanted to try out soft wax product for a while. I spoke with some seasoned roll on wax users to get tips before giving this a try. The best tip I received was to make sure that I heat the wax for at least 30 minutes. The wax works best when it is hot and flows freely.It’s a little trickly to figure out if you are totally new to waxing like I am. If you apply the wax quickly and get a strip on right away, and then remove the strip quickly before the wax fully dries, you will have the best success. When you remove the strip, you want to pull in the opposite direction of the hair growth while pulling the skin tight in the opposite direction of how you are going to pull the strip. Once I got the hang of it, it was really easy to use.

This wax warmer is slow to heat up (45 minutes), but effectively removes hair without causing skin irritation. The roller works smoothly and the wax is a good temperature, but it pulls hairs even before applying wax strips. The plastic housing looks cheap and the wax leaves a residue. Overall, it works as advertised, but with some drawbacks. It’s best to plug it in before showering so it’s ready to use afterwards.

Works for Me!
I have always used melted hard wax for home hair removal so I was not sure what this was going to be. This product is stickier and goes on in a thinner film than I can do with a stick and the hard wax. When I looked through the box, I realized this is like the wax they used when I had my legs done in France, with the softer wax and the fabric strips.I followed the directions carefully. I let the wax get a little too hot and had to let it cool down. The applicator worked well, although I can see that this could get messy. The thin amount that rolled on seemed insufficient compared to hard wax, but I rolled it on in the direction of hair growth (down the leg), applied the fabric and rubbed it in circles, the ripped the fabric off going against the growth (up the leg). I have light colored hair on my legs, so it’s hard to be sure, but I think it got all the hair in one pass. I did not have any irritation, but I have been waxing my legs most of my life, so I’m used to it.I’m glad this kit contains two cartridges of wax, although I suspect one will last a good while since I used very little during my first session.I don’t remember the price and the product page does not give it because it’s currently unavailable, but I think it was about $20. That’s not a bad price for the warmer, two cartridges, fabric strips, and an after-treatment spray (which I forgot to use).

Not Very Effective
This wax kit includes the applicator which heats up the wax and cartridges that hold the wax. It’s fairly easy to plug in the applicator and add the cartridge. It takes 25-30 minutes to heat the wax up and then you roll the wax onto the skin. Unfortunately, the wax, even if it’s well melted, eventually will clog up the roller, cool down and make rolling the wax on nearly impossible. Instead of rolling on the roller becomes a sticky mess that pulls at the skin as you try to roll the wax on. It’s a terrible design that hurts and makes waxing frustrating.
