Always reliable
I purchased this curling iron (did not receive it free for review) after my last Revlon curling iron died recently after like 12 years! This one does not disappoint either, it is super easy to use, heats quickly and curls my hair perfectly. I love the way the tip is shaped which makes it easy to grip and the clamp has just the right amount of pressure to hold my fine hair. I do find the curling iron to be a top heavy when set down so it tilts forward but I just rest it on my sink lip to keep the heat away from my Formica bathroom counter. I havenât had any trouble with turning it off accidentally due to the on off button location like some other reviewers have mentioned, I donât find it to be a problem. I see many years ahead of reliable use if my last was any indication. Great product for a great price.

It works internationally. Automatically adjusts voltage.
I purchased to take to Italy. It worked perfectly when plugged into a $4 plug adapter. 2 of us used it for 10 days in Sardinia and Rome and never had a problem. I love that it adjusts automatically to which voltage it is plugged into. Now it is also working perfectly home in Texas.

I had the previous model of this curling iron for 15 years and was saddened when it died. I bought a different brand and was very unhappy with. I was so excited to find this on Amazon and it has not disappointed my expectations. One thing I hated about the other brands was the metal rest that keeps the hot barrel off the surface you are resting it on. They are all made out of metal and fold up. The metal always gets hot and you have to move it back and forth if you put it down during your curling session. With this model it is a built in plastic rest that never has to be moved and never gets hot. Very happy with it’s performance, it heats up quickly, holds my hair without pulling it, results in a nice smooth curl not frizzy.

Would not recommend. Bad design
I have been using Revlon brand curling irons for years, but not had this happen! My forehead is scarred due to a bad designed curling iron! I’m so mad at myself for thinking the problem with the iron was going to get ‘betterâ, but didn’t! I should have returned it after it happened! Now it’s past the 30 day Return! I’ve tried to give it every benefit of the doubt, but The END of the Curling Iron is NOT USER FRIENDLY and because of that it has slipped from my fingers on numerous occasions while I’m attempting to use it on my bang & sides⦠I burnt myself on 2 separate occasions! And, now I have a scar which isnât going away!! I’m so disgusted. I read a review before buying about how it grabs/pulls the hair, but thought maybe it was just this person. Not the case! It grabs and doesn’t let go. It pulls & breaks the hair! I’ve been using curling irons most of 45 years of my 60. So it’s not like this is my first time around the block. The heat adjustment was not turned up 1/2 way & even so, that shouldn’t happen! The entire design is terrible! So frustrated! NO, I would not recommend this Curling Iron to anyone! It doesn’t hold hair very tight, somewhat loose, not used to that.Also it is very easy to accidently turn it off when using it … it is very sensitive to the touch. I’m constantly having to turn it on again.

Heats up quickly and gets very hot at highest setting. Only downside for me is I keep hitting the on and off button while Iâm curling my hair.

This is perfect. I wanted a large barrel that would smooth and provide a little body with soft loose curls. The cover is really nice, allowing me to put it away right after using it and not leaving it sitting out to cool.
