Great product and help with dispenser
Iâve been using this product for almost 20 years. Itâs great. Adds great hold and if your hair gets wind blown all you have to do is wet your hands and run them through your hair and voila refreshed.Now for the dispenser. Yes sometimes you pump air or nothing. The trick is to push the bottom up until you feel resistance. Then use the pump and if necessary push up again on the bottom. Iâve occasionally had the product separate where oil comes out and hardened product but if you rub your hands together it will mix back up. I use it every single day. About a 3/4â of ribbon and it lasts me two months.

My hairdresser recommended this product when I got my haircut. She didn’t have any when she styled my hair with something else that was heavier. The hair looked great but the heavier product was just that, heavy and waxy.I was in a rush to try Redken Texture paste that my hairdresser recommended. I wanted to go to Ulta, but it’s not so close to home and in my haste, I ordered it through Amazon.THE PRODUCT IS WONDERFUL! it does do all that it’s supposed to do, such as lifting a seperating where needed and is LONG LASTING. I can simply run my fingers through my hair in the AM and I’m good to goMY PROBLEM: I am sure this was a returned product. The pump was already primed when I went to use it, followed by an air bubble, not allowing more product to dispense. I had enough to start with and it wasn’t until I went to use it again, that I decided to check out why the pump wasn’t dispensing the product.I checked the bottom and found that it was open and I pressed on the bottom and it pushed the volume up and I was then able to dispense the product.HOWEVER, in doing so, I saw that there was a large amount of space at the end of the container, leading me to wonder if it had been used before me since I had only used a small amount.I DID get a chance to to to ULTA and checked to same product and found the pump volume was all the way to to bottom of the container. (If you see the container, you’ll know what I mean.THE PRODUCT IS 5+ stars. The seller on AMAZON, a 2 for passing off used products.Lesson learned.

I’ve tossed my curling iron where it belongs – in the GoodWill bin. Hope someone else enjoys it.I’m 68, silver haired, and done with the careful waves and curls.This Redken paste is my go-to for that final, piecy styling of my careless, wind-tossed pixie cut.Love it.Now, for God’s sake, Redken, don’t stop making it!!!!

PRODUCT WILL NOT DISPENSE
This is a great product, Iâve used it before â¦. BUT .. I ordered another can of it before I ran out, and didnât even try it until the return window had passed. Unfortunately it will not come out of the container!!! Total waste of over $25 for me â¦. I wonât be ordering it from Amazon any more, thatâs for sure!! I see on the reviews for it that many people had the same problem â¦. and whatâs with Amazon selling used stuff as new?? Come on, hats just pure unadulterated GREED. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

This stuff is great, the only hair paste / wax that I can stand!
I love this hair paste. It is the exact right “weight” (not too thick, not too thin) and scent (not overbearingly cloying scent), and does a great job to give my freshly-washed hair a bit of texture. I rely on this to make my hair look great, and have been using it for years. Highly recommend.
