Flexible yet sturdy and keeps your hair looking matte!
I love this product. For reference, I have short pixie hair. It’s very fine, but I have a LOT of it. So it’s hard to get it to stay up/messy how I want it. I was previously using R+Co’s Continental Glossing Wax, which I liked the hold of but obviously it made it glossy, which ended up looking sort of gelled – it served its purpose, but it’s not what I was looking for. So when I needed more product, I decided to try this one. I really love it. It gives the same flexible hold, but without making it look like it has product in it. Obviously it makes your hair a little sticky so it stays in place, but not excessively so like other products. And the best part is my hair still looks matte when I use it. Super easy to move my hair around, but stays in place one I have it how I like it and it gives it SOOOOO much volume. I hate hair spray so this is great.Like I said, I have a lot of hair, so it’s been hard to find a product that gives me the voluminous messy look while still keeping it matte. So I’m glad I finally found something! It’s a little expensive for me, so hopefully it’ll last a while. You don’t have to use much for it to work, so if you have thinner/less hair than I do I wouldn’t worry about using it too fast. But I tend to go through products faster since I have more hair, so we’ll see. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this product if it fits your needs!

Light Hold Not Sticky
I don’t use hairspray so I rely on a paste for hold. This one is natural looking and not sticky. Doesn’t keep my volume up all day as much as hairspray probably would, but I don’t like that sprays make my hair dry and stiff. This paste is soft and not drying. Love R+Co products as a general rule, too.

Amazing, but tints light hair orange
By far one of the best hair creams Iâve been using. Keeps my hair in place for almost the entire day and the smell isnât half bad. My only complaint is after using it for 8 months, Iâve noticed that it turns my hair slightly orange. I have blonde hair and in photos the effect is very noticeable. The top of my head (where I style it) will have an orange tint after putting this in my hair. I have a #1 fade on the sides and the color difference between my natural hair and where it has product in it is just pronounced enough that someone else might notice. Itâs become extremely frustrating because no other hair cream feels as light in my hair, is as easy to style, or holds as long without feeling waxy or greasy. Fix the color issue and it deserves 5 stars.

Been using this for years. It gets worked through whole head of thick hair. A little goes a long way. I use a dime size piece for my whole head. Def recommend 10/10

Wow, does this stuff hold your hair in place. And without getting that crunchy feeling. So many products I’ve tried do that. I have really short hair and I can put it into place with this balm and it stays.

Mid weight hair goop- Nice scent, not greasy!
R+Co Control paste is great for my curly hair. It prevents frizz but doesn’t make my hair look like it’s been glued to my head :)It looks natural. It has a pleasant but very light scent. It doesn’t transfer residue to shirts or pillows.Great product. This is the third container I’ve purchased, so I have some experience with this product.
