Our Eco-Commitment
Our terra-cotta Foot Scrubbers are 100% plastic-free and come in a recyclable cardboard box.
It matters because tiny particles called microplastics wreak havoc on our water, soil and wildlife. Plastic pumice bars break down with use, constantly releasing microplastics. Our Foot Scrubbers don’t – so you get a great scrub and a cleaner environment.

So Glad I Found This
I have used pumice stones in the past, but they’re either difficult to grip, too abrasive or too soft of a stone. I have a long history of tough heels – they’re constantly dry and cracked. I often go to get professional pedicures with a callus remover for this reason. They really bother me – especially at night when I feel them rubbing against the sheets. I bought this because it was made of terracotta. I figured if I started using it in the shower, along with a nice, thick cream every night before bed, it would make an impact. Pedicures can become very expensive. This is a much more budget friendly alternative to a pedicure – I’ve been using it daily and it is not super abrasive but that’s less of a chance I will hurt myself and it’s smoothing my heels down a little at a time. It’s also super easy to hold and not as slippery when wet. I would recommend to anyone looking to exfoliate their feet in a natural, pocket friendly way.

LOVE THIS
It looks very expensive, lol, like something a rich person would have in their bathroom. I love the clay look and texture of it, and it works great. It removed the dead skin off my foot immediately. I noticed that my husband wasnât complaining about me rubbing my ârough feetâ on him anymore ð so it definitely worked. I recommend it. Works great for the price, and itâs appealing to the eye.

Fantastic for Smoothing Rough Feet
This pumice stone works wonders! Itâs great at removing calluses and smoothing rough spots on my feet. After just one use, my feet felt incredibly soft. The stone is easy to grip, and itâs durable enough for frequent use. A must-have for foot care!

Great exfoliator with earthy look
Used this over and over and it always does a great job. I also like the way it looks.

The Gilden Tree Foot Scrubber is easy to use and it works well.
At my annual physical I told my doctor that my feet hurt all the time no matter if I was standing, walking or laying down. I always have to keep two insoles in each shoe to cushion my feet. I cannot walk barefooted (or even if Iâm wearing thick athletic socks). I always have to put my shoes on even for overnight bathroom visits. As my doctor examined my feet he pointed out the many calluses on each foot. He said that I needed âto take care of these calluses.â I asked him how would I do that? He said, âGo to Amazon, type in Gilden Tree Foot Scrubber and order one. After you take a shower your feet will be sufficiently wet to use the Foot Scrubber. Be sure to follow the instructions enclosed with your order. Youâll be tempted to try to completely remove a callus in one sitting but donât do that! Just scrub off the layers that are moist, then stop and apply your favorite lotion to both feet. You must be patient and just take off a few layers at a time. Repeat this process until every callus is removed. Once success is achieved continue with regular maintenance.âMy wife placed the order that same day and it arrived within a week. Following my doctorâs advice I started trimming my calluses. After each use I would clean and disinfect the Foot Scrubber. However, I couldnât remove all of the imbedded scrapings after my last use so I went to the Gilden Tree website to seek help.Their posted solution is to clean it in the dishwasher. I put the Foot Scrubber on the third (the top) shelf which is just a horizontal flat surface to wash thin items. The next morning when I opened the dishwasher and pulled out the top shelf the Foot Scrubber was in two pieces. It had broken off at the neck between the fourth and fifth âringâ, so I called Gilden Tree.I spoke with Alison, who couldnât have been more helpful and understanding. She helped me look up the order number on the Amazon website to confirm the purchase. (BTW, why donât online companies send a receipt with each order you make?) Alison verified the information that she needed and is sending me a new replacement Foot Scrubber at no charge, even including the shipping!Alison could not have treated me any better. Her enormous kindness is the perfect example of how to deal with a customerâs problem!!I hope that every retailer in the world reads this account and adopts Alisonâs technique because it is exactly what todayâs consumers expect but very seldom receive!! (Why donât you email this review to the Customer Service Department at each and every company that you do business with?)I highly recommend doing business with Gilden Tree, which has many other items available for purchase.Thank you, Gilden Tree! Thank you, Alison!! And THANK YOU for taking the time to read this!Mike KeenCarmel, Indiana USA

Not ideal for professional use
I am a licensed nail technician and I do love how well this foot file works and itâs easy to grasp and easier on my hands than a pumice stone. Cleaning and disinfecting is another story. I have found it literally impossible to remove the residue from the fileâ¦..soaked, scrubbed, nothing has worked.

Quality is excellent.
I like the weight of the terracotta stone. I think it will last a long time. Thinking about some kind of rubber edge for it so if I drop it it wonât damage it. I used it and it works great for calluses.

Works well
You know when you just donât have time to get in for a pedicure. This works better than any pumice stone I have tried. The shape makes it easy to handle.
