Love it!
I have somewhat curly or wavy hair. This curltirin gives me right ringlet curls. It heads up quick and gets pretty hot. I’m thankful it came with a thermal glove. So easy to use and great value for the price!

Budget Item
This curling iron is not your everyday use curling iron. It gets hot (very fast) and gets the job done. But it’s not amazing. The locking mechanism does not feel secure and honestly just feels too hot to be all that good for your hair.

Perfect for Bouncy, Tight Curls
This 1/2 inch curling iron is exactly what I needed for creating tight, bouncy curls. The small barrel works great on both short and long hair, giving me the perfect volume and definition. It heats up super quickly, so I can get my hair styled in minutes without worrying about heat damage. I love that it has two temperature settings to suit different hair types, and the ceramic coating leaves my hair smooth and shiny. The included heat-protective glove and clips are a nice bonus, making it safer and easier to use.

Creates small, tight corkscrews
The results of this iron are really pretty on long hair. I was hoping to use it to create a frew small tendrils to frame my face and it’s super easy to achieve with the skinny barrel. The glove works well – you can feel the warmth of the iron but it protects your fingertips. The comb and clips are nice added bonuses. This is an affordable option to create pretty, tight curls. It would make a good gift and would be great to use to recreate some iconic 90’s hairstyles for Halloween costumes.

While it works fine, it feels unsafe to use and was kind of a hassle
PROS:- Heats up quickly- Creates tight curls- Curls are created quickly, donât have to leave it in hair for long- Comes with protective glove and hair clipsCONS:- Metal heating rod is detachable and locking feature is not secure, unsafe.- No clamp to hold hair in place to roll- Have to manually wrap hair around heating rodI am a woman with long straight hair. So I love getting to curl my hair and have a different more elegant look. I have been using different hair curling methods all my life, I have tried several:1. Hot Rollers2. Curling Irons3. Sponge hair rollers4. Rag CurlsI often donât take the time to curl my hair anymore because itâs a bit of a hassle. Wrapping up the hair, waiting for it to take, getting the curls to look just right, I really save it for special occasions these days if I curl my hair at all. When I saw this iron curling rod I was intrigued by its method of curling hair. So I thought Iâd bring my straight hair out of retirement and put some curls in it again! But I have to report back I didnât find this curling rod any easier or less of a hassle than any other means of hair curling I have tried. The item has some good features; it heats up quickly, it curled my hair well, it can provide loose or tight curls, and once curled the curls lasted longer than many other curlers I have tried. With all that said however, I did not feel safe while using this item. My biggest qualm is the metal iron rod is detachable. You have to attach it to even use the item and it only secures in place by turning it to the right. If it would securely lock that would be fine, but it does not. The switch to lock it is loose and can easily slide from locked to unlock position! So the heated metal rod has a risk of just falling out during use?! I did not feel okay or safe with that. I would recommend being extra cautious of that while using this item. Most curling irons come with an added clamp on the rod that allows you to secure your hair and roll it to the top of your head and hold. This curling rod did not have that clamp. So you are forced to hold the very hot, heated iron rod, with one hand pointing it away from your face and then manually with your other hand roll your hair around it. I found this incredibly tedious! And without the clamp the very end tips of your hair miss out on getting curled. Even with the provided safety glove, which is just cloth; I still wouldnât be okay touching the heated iron element on this even with the glove. So the whole time I was wrapping my hair around this I had to be extra aware and cautious of my hands and fingers. After 2 curls I wanted to stop using it.It did what a curling iron is supposed to do; it even did it well if you are willing to go through the hassle or wrapping your hair manually and holding it tight. But the increased risk of burns for us non-professional hair stylists, curling our hair at home, and the loose locking mechanism has made me feel itâs not worth it.

Tight curls
I have curly hair to begin with but years of straightening it in the front have left some of my curls frizzy and flat around my face. When I go curly I use this to touch up those areas. It takes a bit to get the hang of the glove but this tool creates tight curls.

Good for thin or short hair
I used this to curl my 4 year oldâs hair for a wedding event and it worked great! A little too long to easily use for her hair but itâs probably meant more for adults of course. I would think the barrel would be a little shorter though to make it easier for short hairstyles. Still a good dependable value option.
