Potent and pleasant
I’m pretty big into wax melts and recently stumbled upon a new scent I found by Woodwick called Humidor. To say obsessed is a bit of an understatement. I looked online to see if I could order myself a small backstock of the scent, but I realized how ridiculously pricey it is in the grand scheme of things, for how quickly I go through wax melts. I came across this product listing on my search and decided to dust off my trusty old diffuser and give these fragrance oils a try instead. A few drops of oil each day makes more sense for my wallet and efforts than it does to constantly cycle through wax melts.These scents are quite nice. And potent! I can’t say I’m in absolute love with every single one, but that’s a matter of personal preference, I think. I’m really into somewhat masculine scents, and these fit the bill. I’ve been experimenting with combining different scents together and I love the way they make my house smell. The sweet tobacco, bay rum and sandalwood get me pretty close to the vibe I got from the Humidor melts I loved so much.I just came back to order a second set. So perhaps this is goodbye, wax melts? Because I also ordered a bigger diffuser….oops.

These scents are potent. They do indeed come powered with scent so they are def good to put in diffusers, for candles, soaps etc. Our purpose is for a diffuser⦠based on that, here goes my humble opinionmy least faves: leather & cedarSmells like true true leather, cedar just came off really strong. I suppose if you mix these scents with others they might work; But alone, these are not scents Iâd want my home smelling like.My mid selection faves: bay rum & sandalwoodThey indeed smell great! But I feel these scents are for seasonal use. I feel like bay rum is a bit âholiday-ishâ? And sandalwood has like a fall feel.My best faves: sweet tobacco & teakwoodWow! Smells like cologne and rich. Exactly what I was looking for and smell exactly like I expected. Def. Regular/everyday use.

Mostly great, a couple duds for me
Some notes about the individual scents in this collection…Leather: Quite strong, but smells exactly as you would expect, and not in a bad way.Teakwood: One of my favorites of the collection. Not floral or woody to me, but… weirdly “fresh”? Like it reminds me of the ocean or rain or something.Sandalwood: I was the most disappointed by this one. Sandalwood is a go-to incense scent for me. But, to me, this essential oil does not evoke the same essence that sandalwood incense would. It’s got a strong “baby powder” scent to me.Bay Rum: This was one of the surprise hits for me. I really enjoy this one. It reminds me of evergreen tree sap and/or Christmas spices.Sweet Tobacco: This one was a little too sweet-smelling for my nose. It’s not bad, and a little subtle. It has a hint of tobacco leaf, but the “sweet” overpowers it for me, and that’s a disappointment here.Cedar: A classic, and one of my favorites. No surprises with this one, but cedar is always a go-to scent for me. This one doesn’t disappoint.Four big hits for me (Cedar, Bay Rum, Teakwood, and Leather), a take-it-or-leave-it with Sweet Tobacco, and a bad miss with Sandalwood… overall, would recommend this set!

These diffuser scents are not overwhelming and gives your home a pleasant woodsy smell.

There is no guidance on mix percentage for candles
I have not used these yet but for anyone intending to use these for candles be aware there is not mix ratio or recommended percentage for candle making. No info on bottle itself, no info on box and no info on the point of sale. Other’s note the FO is strong so I intend to start at 2%.

Good Starter Pack
Got this so we could sample different scents. Most of these we love and a couple not so much. Some if you use extra drops they really get to smelling good, a couple are so weak I donât think using the whole bottle at once would make a difference. Tobacco believe it or not is awesome.
