Product Description
Vaginal pH Test Strips to Monitor Feminine Health & Prevent Infections
How do I use the test strips?
When opening the foil pouch, the reagent pad at the tip of the pH test strips should be yellow. If you test the strips with common household fluids, be aware that the pH of water is about 7 (neutral), and the pH of milk is about 6.5, so both will turn the reagent pad dark blue. Use a common household cotton swab (not included) to collect a sample of vaginal fluid and wet the reagent pad, wait for 30 seconds, then compare it to the color chart. The reagent pad will continue to react and change color. Ignore the color results after 30 seconds.
Match your pH test color results and vaginal symptoms
If the color stays yellowish or light green (3.5 to 4.5), your pH is normal. If the color turns a dark green or blue (5 to 6.5), your pH is abnormal. Compare your pH test strip color result and the vaginal symptoms you are experiencing to the common vaginal infections chart in the product booklet.
WAIT EXACTLY 30 SECONDS TO COMPARE COLOR RESULTS. IGNORE RESULTS AFTER 30 SECONDS.

INTENDED USE: If you are experiencing unusual vaginal discharge, odor, itching, pain, dryness, or burning during urination or sex, you should test your vaginal pH.
TEST BEFORE YOU TREAT: Pelvana vaginal pH test strips can help you differentiate between 3 common vaginal infections. Testing your vaginal pH levels and matching your unwanted vaginal symptoms can help you determine if you are suffering from a bacterial infection, yeast infection, or another common vaginal infection.
WHAT YOU GET: This box contains 100 vaginal pH test strips. Test strips are packaged in 10 air-tight packs with 10 test strips each.
GETTING STARTED: When opening a foil pack, the reagent pad at the tip of the pH test strip should be yellow (this means it is fresh and ready to test). Use the QR code to view the common vaginal infections chart.
30 SECONDS: It is critical to the accuracy of the test that you measure the color change of the reagent pad at the tip of the pH test strip, exactly 30 seconds after testing. The chemicals on the reagent pad will continue to react and change color, so results after 30 seconds are invalid.
HOW TO TEST: Using a regular household cotton swab (not included), gently insert the swab against the vaginal wall and carefully rotate several times to collect a sample of vaginal fluid. Remove the swab and wet the reagent pad at the tip of the test strip.
RESULTS: Match your pH test strip color result (at exactly the 30-second mark), and the unwanted vaginal symptoms you are experiencing, to the common vaginal infections chart.
PH LEVELS: The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral (like water). Pelvana vaginal pH strips are calibrated for low-range testing between 3.5 and 6.5 (for vaginal fluid), so using water to test the strips will produce a dark blue color.
EXTERNAL USE: Please note that the pH test strips are for external use only and should not be inserted directly into the vagina.
PRODUCT LIMITATIONS: Do not test if you are experiencing any perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms and you are not using hormone therapy. Do not test if you have any signs of menstruation or vaginal bleeding. Do not test if it is less than 48 hours after intercourse or vaginal douching.
Customers say
Customers find the chemical test strips easy to use and practical. They provide clear instructions and the graph is easy to read. Many consider the product useful and affordable. However, some customers have issues with color accuracy and color change after opening the strips. There are mixed opinions on value for money, accuracy, and variety of strips.

effective and simple
This treatment did what was intended for. I had a test done to make sure I had the infection.

These really do work
I can tell when my PH is off and these strips were accurate according to what I know about my body. This is helpful to see where your baseline is and also helps you figure out if you need treatment due to an abnormality. Donât touch the PH part of the strip with your fingers, or with anything else besides the swab youâll use. Wash your hands before and after handling of course. Out of all of the strips in 1 pouch, I only had to throw one away because the color was off and I didnât trust it. It could have been fine, but I didnât want to chance it. Be sure to reseal the pouch after opening and put it back in the cylinder it comes with. I used these for about a week before posting this review and would recommend them.

Worked as expected
These tests striped come with so many at a cheap price. They have helped me numerous times to see if I had something coming on. One time, I used them to test at home, they showed a number that confirmed my suspicions so I went to the doctor. The doctor did some testing and her pH came back as the same pH I got with the strip at home. So, these really do work. I recommend, just being a woman they are handy to have around.

Does the job but expires quickly as you open the packets
I feel like I ordered better strips in the past. These come in small packets, after a week of being open the yellow part discolors. It makes me doubt the accuracy.
Dear MR.J –
results a bit unpredictable.
I tried the Pelvana Vaginal pH Balance Test Strips, and my experience was a bit mixed. The kit comes with 50 strips divided into 5 packets of 10 each. I tested three strips with the most yellow pigment, which initially gave a pH reading of about 4.5. However, Iâm unsure about their accuracy. To check, I tested the strips in water, and they turned a very different shade of blue, which didnât quite match the pH scale. I also tested them on saliva and soap, and the results were consistent with the expected pH for those substances. The strips are supposed to start as light yellow (around a 3.5 on the scale). The first packet I opened matched this description, but later strips seemed to have shifted to a slightly greenish hue, giving a pH reading of 4.0 to 4.5. This inconsistency makes me question their reliability.Overall, while the concept is helpful, the variability in results and strip color change raises concerns about their precision.

Easy to use
Easy to use and read and comes with many strips that are extra sealed for freshness. This test is reccomended by the obgyns of NeuEve
Cindie O. –
Always the same 5.5 reading
This product must be faulty as it shows my ph as abnormal even after Iâve taken medication for the two things that could cause this reading. Itâs been a month of testing and it had never changed & I also no longer have had any symptoms after taking both medications⦠so pretty frustrating to not be able to trust it.
