Wonderful
I absolutely love this makeup remover, and anything really from Paula’s Choice. This make up remover takes off make up with ease and leaves my skin so supple feeling. In the summer I will follow up the cleaner with the foaming cleanser to help remove my sunscreen. Never leaves my skin with a dry feeling.Great product!!! A bit pricey but well worth it. I ordered two by mistake, so I just put the other one in the fridge.

NEED for sensitive skin!
Since moving to Minnesota from FL, I have been struggling with increased dryness and skin sensitivity. I feel like the dry spots take much longer to heal, no matter what I try (and I’ve tried everything). For reference, I am a 24 year old female with dry/sensitive skin and use a high-strength prescription retinol nightly (0.1% tretinoin). In FL, my skin was easily managed with Cerave moisturizing oil cleanser and la Roche poussey daily moisturizer and a hyaluronic acid serum, but not up here~This has been my holy grail. The scent is minimal and natural, the texture is soft but perfect for melting away makeup. My skin feels completely cleansed afterwards and NOT irritated/dry. For the size as well, you get a HUGE bottle (16oz), so that should last plenty of time if you only use it on your face.

Helped Heal My Skin
Mid-50âs. First time having significant skin issues – terrible acne, dryness, very painful burning. Used Cerave for several years but as my skin became dryer, Cerave stopped helping. Finally saw a dermatologist & received a rosacea diagnosis. Went down that rabbit hole of information. Oof.Decided to give PC a chance. Glad I did! Itâs a very luxurious & creamy lotion wash. Washing my face with this product then applying avocado oil on my water-misted face has revitalized my skin. After one month, my acne is nearly gone. Skin texture is much softer. Still a wee bit of dryness on my forehead & the tiniest spot of redness on the side of my face but hopeful thatâll heal soon. Those were the most damaged areas so makes sense they are the last to heal.I switched to muslin washcloths as my normalcotton cloths were too harsh & most likely damaged my skin barrier.Eliminated wheat, dairy & coffee as well. Turns out dairy may have been the root cause all along. Strange how that manifested in my face now.Highly recommend this product.

My new favorite product!
Love this product! I can’t use the foaming, gels, etc and need a cream cleanser. I wipe it off with a soft makeup towel and don’t rinse it with water. It takes the place of the sisley white lily which I’ve been using for about 27 years. It’s far less expensive and a quality replacement. It removes all my makeup and leaves no residue. I use Paula’s Choice 2% BHA before bed and follow with my night cream. I use it for my morning cleanser and follow with a moisturizer and my skin looks good all day, It doesn’t ‘eat’ my foundation and I only need to give my face a light dusting of setting powder in the late afternoon to keep my makeup looking fresh.

this is a gentle cleanser ….
I really like the texture and subtle fragrance. My face feels moisturized after each use. I will keep it in my routine.

Good but then weird
I used this and liked it. I finished the first bottle and ordered a second. The second bottle smells so strongly of rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol when I use it. The first bottle didnât have that smell.

Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Cleanser is probably my top favorite cleanser of all time
Getting older and going through all the hormonal changes from having a child has really messed with my skin, which wasn’t even close to being ideal to begin with. I’ve always yearned for a gentle cleanser – I have extremely sensitive skin – that is strong enough to remove the liquid foundation that I wear. Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Cleanser is probably my top favorite cleanser of all time. Its price point is cheaper if you were to buy directly from Paula’s Choice website; however, they only offer free shipping on orders of $50+. If you’re an Amazon Prime member and you’re not looking to order anything else from Paula’s Choice, I’d say it’s priced fairly here. The cleanser’s consistency is that of a more milky Cetaphil. It keeps this consistency and doesn’t really work into a lather when I wash my face; however, it removes nearly all of my makeup. During the day, I always wear sunscreen and I typically opt to wear liquid foundation that’s in the medium-to-full-coverage range (i.e. thick, liquid foundation). The first time I used this cleanser, I was impressed with how efficient it was in removing my makeup. I can tell if a cleanser isn’t that efficient because I’ll see the traces of foundation on the cotton pads/balls when I use a toner after washing.I never see any residual foundation on the cotton pad after I’ve used this particular cleanser. It isn’t strong enough to remove my waterproof eye makeup completely, but that’s why you get a separate eye makeup remover.I’ve noticed that since using this cleanser, my face stays in the dewy range without going too oily. I love that it doesn’t leave you with that super squeaky feeling after washing up. My skincare routine is currently this cleanser, Thayer’s witch hazel, Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid, Paula’s Choice C15 super booster, and Paula’s Choice moisture boost face cream. I’m still experiencing some breakouts, but the overall texture of my facial skin has improved drastically and it’s only been about a month of doing this new skincare regimen.

Thick and creamy cleanser, perfect for sensitive skin. My redness prone skin loves this cleanser.

Had to wait for awhile and then finally got it and nothing has changed for my skin. It’s still dry and red. Not satisfied at all. Sad I wasted the money and time waiting for this.
