PM hair brush
The bristles are strong and really hold my hair together. Beautiful blow dry like at the salon. The handle is also nice: feels good in my hand.Excellent value for the money, works well, easy to use and not heavy in my hand

Holds hair for styling, but doesn’t tangle
Great blow drying and styling brush that slids through hair easily, but doesn’t get tangled.

Well construction. Wife uses it to curl her bangs. Really easy for her to use.

Good brush
This is a good blow dry brush, but I wish the grip was better. I have fibromyalgia and itâs hard to dry my thick hair using this brush without developing wrist and hand pain. It is rubberized, but it is smooth, so not the best grip. My okd brush that I was replacing had grooves and was rubber, and it was much easier to grip. If you donât have joint issues like me, you should be fine.

The Best Brushes hands down.
I own 3 of these brushes in varying sizes and reach for them time and again out of all my brushes. They’re truly the workhorse(s) of my mane stable (ha, someone pls laugh…) Here are some key features that make the Paul Mitchell brushes so stand out:1. They’re well-made. The brustles, the aluminum surface, the handle. Everything is sturdy and won’t fall apart. I’ve owned multiple brushes that barely last a year’s worth of at-home blowouts and styling and these babies have lasted me 2+ years.2. The silicone/rubber handles are easy on the grip and comfortable for long use. My at home blowout lasts about 45 mins each, so that’s a lot of gripping, pulling and twisting. While wooden handles look nicer, they eff up the skin on my palms like crazy and become super uncomfortable after about 3 sections of hair (ie. 5 mins into the job). They also don’t offer much grip vs. the material on these brushes.3. The bristles and aluminum exterior make for faster drying. I cannot explain this wizardry. I just have a head full of thick ass Asian hair that’s halfway down to my back and this baby gets each section dried in record time. I’ve tried other combos like nylon bristles with boar etc etc. None gets it done as efficiently and smoothly as PM.4. Lastly, these guys are easy to maintain. They allow me to pull the stuck hairs out easily when I want to do a brush clean-up. I soak them in a hot water/vinegar/baking soda solution and they’re back to being clean and sterilized for future use. They also “dry” relatively quickly so they’re ready to use the next day.

Where has this been all my life ?!
SO much easier than doing the 2 fisted hairbrush and blow dryer! Does a great job of smoothing and adding lift! I don’t find the hot setting too hot, unless it stays in one spot a while. Discovered that you can start it at the top of your scalp and just keep rolling it out the top section and keep it going to the next sections without moving it away from your scalp. one continuous motion.

Great for fine hair
I’ve fine frizzy 2c type curl. To blow out with the right brush makes a big difference in finish and damage. This brush does not snag or “stretch” the strands to the point of breaking. It flows through easily to just below shoulder length. It looks and feels sturdy. It is somewhat similar to a brush I had for twenty years that finally caved. Two years ago it was replaced with a bamboo ion ceramic brush that has already come to the end of serviceable standard. Hairs left in this Paul Mitchell come out easily and it should wash without consequences to any “ceramic” paint or finish to the handle/materials it is made of.I’ve had a flat iron from Paul Mitchell’s pro tools for fifteen years that still preforms. This made the extra expense up front for this brush seem worth it. Better for your hair and the environment since the tools last…

Size descriptions need clarification
Looks like a nice brush, but I didn’t try it out because it was too small. I ordered the small/1.5″ brush. That is an overall size, including the bristles. I was looking for a shaft of 1.5″, so returned for the medium size. Many have asked for clarity on sizing. In my case that clarity would have prevented me from needing to return this item as I knew what size I wanted. Even in the Q&A, sizing info is unclear. Seller take note!

I bought this brush years ago in the store. I was so upset when I dropped it and it broke. By chance, I looked for it on Amazon & found it again, exact same one, fair price. I was very happy, it’s a classic!
