What the advertisement touts is 100% true, my thoughts. Itâs a quality product that promotes softness & locks in moisture until next wash. The lasting scent is sublime. I used on loose twists style on natural hair. The results were soft smooth & frizz free locâs with sheen.3 days laterâ¦using a tiny bit of product I rolled groups of twist with perm rods, let set, took down & untwisted to about an inch or so from scalp & Voilà a whole new styleâ¦fluffy & bouncy, lux natural curls. ðâºï¸

This is not my first time purchasing this product. I typically get it from Ulta, but was happy to see it discounted for Prime Day! I have low porosity Type 4 hair and this product does well with moisturizing my hair. It absorbs well with other products so itâs easy to use. I do wish the price wasnât so high, but itâs a nice size jar.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Tracee Ellis Ross hit the nail on the head! FINALLY a hair product line that works on my on in between hair (mostly thick, half curly, half wavy, thick hair) Leaves my hair soft, with no frizz. What more can I say???

From a man with wavy/curly hair
Although this product is promoted towards woman with super curly or kinky curls this is honestly one of the best styling creams I’ve ever used for my hair. It fits that perfect middle ground of moisturizer and mousse for my hair without it feeling like I put some dense thing in my hair. My hair always looks healthy and shiny throughout the day and it doesnât have a strong annoying smells unlike other stylings creams or mousses. Also it last forever I think one it lasted me a year and a half so the bang for you buck if you have a more loose hair texture is definitely there. If your a dude with curly or wavy hair try this out you wonât regret it.

I donât love it
I purchased this with low expectations being that my daughter and I have natural 4c hair that we jokingly refer to as âcanât cha, donât chaâ hairâcanât you comb it & donât you try. While itâs not true that we canât comb our hair, itâs so thick & long that friends & family are amazed by the texture & products we use.Cost – I believe that you get what you pay for, so I didnât let cost sway me away. Being that the results werenât great, I donât think the price point is correct. They should lower the cost or improve the formula.Moisture – the product isnât a complete fail. It has a nice scent which is always a plus in a hair product. I used a lot of the product to actually moisturize my hair, and that was short lived. The product is creamy in my palm but sticky in my hair. The moisture didnât last & my hair looked very dry shortly after application. The same was true for my daughterâs hair. I really wanted this to work, but it doesnât seem so. I want to try Tracee other products before giving up, but I currently get better results from other products so canât move to this on.

I was worried about getting such a small jar but I wanted to try this cream because of its ingredients. I am blown away! This is the richest cream ever. The small jar will last me months, it moisturizers, shines, easy to use. Just a small amount goes a long way.

Nice scent when used in moderation
It has a nice scent, but I can’t identify the notes. It reminds me very much of the perfumed lotions that Avon used to sell decades ago. I was just happy to find a scent that doesn’t smell like coconut, hibiscus, or shea butter. A little goes a long way. I use it only when my hair starts to smell a little sweaty. It makes my hair smell nice while I’m trying to make it to my weekend hair wash day. I use only a quarter size amount and sparingly distribute that amount over all of my hair. Using more than that results in a scent that, in my opinion, is too strong for me. I use a leave-in conditioner most days, but this is the real MVP to get me through. The jar is the perfect size for my use, but if you are looking to saturate your hair then you will likely want a larger size or multiple jars.
