Pacifica Island Vanilla Spray Perfume

I like Pacifica brand items, and have tried out body/hair mists and skincare products; but this is my first time trying out a perfume by this brand. I was intrigued by the look and style, as well as the scent notes described in the listing. This Pacifica Dream Moon perfume definitely met my expectations and more, and I’m very happy with it. It came presented very well, and was protected by some bubble wrap *which I appreciate*. The box is even pretty, with the blue and purple color, and moon design. I saw from the listing that this perfume bottle wouldn’t come with a cap, and so I already expected that. But I do think a cap would probably be helpful, as it just looks like something is missing. However, I do love this perfume very much… The scent takes me back to a time in which feels nostalgic; it sort of smells like a perfume I had years ago (perhaps a celebrity perfume, like a Brittany Spears or Ariana type…?). But it smells lighter and cleaner, if that makes sense. The smells is wonderful, and it lasts for me; doesn’t smell too overpowering, and really is pleasant. One or two sprays from the bottle is enough to last a few hours or so, and I really love now soft and sweet it smells to me. This is a great perfume, and I really love both the look and smell of it. I’m very happy with this so far, and am ordering the body/hair mist that matches this scent. I absolutely love it, and am glad I treated myself to this gem of a perfume! I feel the price point seems reasonable for this item, in my opinion. Great quality, and looks nice on my vanity! 💖

Everyone was right about the sampler pack… Dream Moon and Silver Moon are the winners. Here is what I smelled:Dream Moon – Overripe blueberries, creamy musk, leather-like saffron, baskets made of grass.Pros: Weird yet harmoniousCons: Has a plastic noteFlower Moon – A cloud of spring flowers (especially lilacs), watermelon rind, sour candy.Pros: Pleasant in a deodorant wayCons: Acidic notes akin to hairsprayNeon Moon – Pickles, palo santo or cedar, bananas, wet copper pennies.Pros: It’s differentCons: Vaguely food-like, as if from having worked in a kitchen all dayBlue Moon – Cotton candy, hint of pencil erasers, cough medicine or vapor rub.Pros: Oddly comforting, like kindergartenCons: Seems more like a curious odor than a perfumeSilver Moon – Vanilla caramel, licorice, musky shaving cream, Mexican hot chocolate.Pros: Addictively sniff-ableCons: Resembles many other vanilla-based scentsOverall I would say it’s worth getting the sampler pack, though I had to do “surgery” with tweezers on the Silver Moon vial to get the perfume out. The sprayer would not work whatsoever. While none are masterpieces, I would definitely be willing use Silver Moon regularly and it’s a shame that was the one sprayer that was nonfunctional.I could drop Neon and maybe Blue right in the trash with no regrets.Dream and Flower would be good for me when the mood strikes.Definitely a fun experience trying out new scents for a modest price. If you are looking for a little pick-me-up, this is a good buy.

I really like this perfume. I have been super sensitive to developing a cough from a lot of perfumes as of late. This one is fruity and sweet but doesn’t kill my nose. It is gentle upon dry down. I definitely would consider this a good Spring/Summer fragrance. The one fragrance that stands out to compare it with would be a fragrance from the early 2000s by Benefit Cosmetics called “Maybe Baby.” If you don’t know what this is than this reference would be irrelevant to you. Just a side note that these fragrances do not come with caps. The bottle is small and very pretty gradient color.
