I’ve recently purchased my second black NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Epic Ink Liner and even went ahead and just ordered the dark chocolate shade. This eyeliner has quickly become my go-to product, and hereâs why.Firstly, the price is fantastic for the quality you get. I have a drawer full of eyeliners, many of which cost three to four times more than this one. Despite having received some high-end brands as samples and paying higher prices for popular brands, I consistently reach for this liner. Its smooth application and lasting power are impressive, especially considering its affordable price.Iâve used it daily and it has never disappointed. After doing some comparisons and tests….
I absolutely live with eyeliner on every single moment of the day. However, I have very oily eyelids and majority of eyeliners fail to last or stay put on my lids. So I require a very waterproof and smudgeproof formula to at least look good majority of the day before my oils decide to ruin it.My preferences for my eyeliners are a opaque black with a brush tip. As opaque and fluid felt tip eyeliners are, they are hard to control around my hooded eyes and sometimes end up becoming dried out even though I’ve only used the eyeliner a couple times.I’ve compared this NYX eyeliner against some of my favorites or some well known brands: Maybelline’s Hyper Easy, MACQUEEN’s Waterproof, EM Cosmetic’s Illustrative, Heroine Make Smooth Liquid, Eyeko Black Magic, and KVD’s Tattoo Liner.I put each of these up against 4 tests, which I’ve illustrated in my pictures. Maybelline’s new eyeliner held up moderately well, and it’s the only formula I’ve ever found to dry down matte and be this resistant. Of course, my favorite Asian eyeliners from MACQUEEN and Heroine Make are super waterproof and budget roof. Eyeko is also a favorite Asian brand that lasts moderately well. EM Cosmetics did not claim to be waterproof, just resistant, so I’ve allowed that to slide. I’ve never liked KVD’s formula for my lids, so I’m not surprised that it didn’t last.In comparison to those, NYX’s formula isn’t horrible and would work beautifully for most people, but it definitely can’t last through my mighty eyelids. HOWEVER, I absolutely love how opaque the formula is in one swipe and how fluid and even it is. Makes it really easy to do graphic liners! It is also great for creating quick and easy wings (with a precise hand of course since it’s so pigmented).I am going to continue using this with a primer or powder because I am enjoying the pigment! If you don’t have crazy oily eyelids and would love a dark and even application with a brush tip eyeliner, I would highly recommend this eyeliner! And even if you do have lids like me, I’m sure one could make it work with some preparation!

Better than KVD Tattoo Liner!!!
I SWEAR by this eyeliner. Iâve tested a bunch of high end liquid liners from Sephora, Korean makeup ones and cheaper ones from drug stores but I always go back to this NYX one. Iâve been buying it for years. It applies so easily and accurately and does not smudge!! I have oily eye lids so this is especially important for me. It also lasts a long time – I love KVD Tattoo liner but feel like the product runs out so quickly. It glides easily and also dries quickly. It barely budges throughout the day for me.

Be Patient
I like the light brown color they have available. It’s hard to find. I also like the applicator; however, for the first few days the tip was dry and the only way to get more liquid down to the tip was by shaking the pen. By the third day, the tip was moist and the applicator worked much better. Now I really love it!

Finally the perfect liner to get a good cat eye!
I have been trying so many Liners trying to find one that had the right tip and dark enough color to get a beautiful cat eye. This is it! The black is very dark and dramatic just how I like it. It’d waterproof and doesn’t budge until you bring out your makeup remover. I have Sensitive eyes and it didn’t bother them, I also tend to rub my eyes a lot and there was very minimal smudging. Not sticky at all, didn’t have any strong unpleasant scent. The container is nicely made and durable. I’ll be buying again and again.

Delineador bueno, muy flexible su punta no es de esponja son como pelitos definidos y súper suaves para realizar el grosor deseado, me gustó mucho en cuánto la durabilidad en 14 hora se me corrió un poco pero soy de párpado graso, la verdad se me hizo bueno hasta para ojo sensible ya que no irrita el ojo.Lo recomiendo ampliamente!

I love this eyeliner! I have been using liquid liner for so long, and this is one of the only liquid liner pens (I could find) that has an actual brush instead of a felt tip.If you are still using a felt tip and you wear eyeshadow, I highly reccomend you make the switch… it lasts so much longer and pigmentation is not affected by using it over eyeshadow (felt tip absorbs the powder product and becomes less pigmented much more quickly).Perfect for very thin lines and detail work.Very waterproof for me (I also use a primer though)… to the point that I can sit in the bath at the end of the day for over an hour and it doesn’t melt. Very easy to remove (I use microfiber makeup remover cloths with water only).The pigmentation hasn’t faltered and I have been using it almost daily for well over a month.
