A perfect 40!
I am just starting to get back into makeup after taking an 8-month break. Throughout those 8 months, I still wore makeup, but not to the extent I was before. My routine was basically some vitamin e oil, foundation if needed, and mascara. Sometimes, I’d go a little crazy and add some natural eyeshadow too ;)One of the biggest reasons I did this, was not only because my boyfriend isn’t local so I didn’t need to look nice for someone on a daily basis, but because I was tired of applying makeup with a sponge, or a brush, and running out of my foundation so quickly.I saw these brushes months ago, priced at something ridiculous like 20$/brush or 50/brush, and thought that was far out of my budget. Although a good applicator is crucial to achieving a near-flawless look, I wasn’t about to spend all that money on a brush that I hadn’t tried before.A couple days ago, I decided what the hell. Let me purchase a “knock off” and see how I like the mechanism. And I love it. I don’t think there is any reason for me to even buy the more expensive one because these work so well!!! Compared to the sponge, I am using less than half he foundation I was before, and the coverage is smoother and much more consistent. I was nervous about the handle and how to apply, but using these brushes was very natural! When it comes to foundation, I don’t mind spending 50$, so I am stoked that my Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation by Tarte will last me so much longer!!The bristles on these brushes are soft and dense. Normally with productions that aren’t name brand, and usually inexpensive, you “get what you pay for”. I got that AND MORE. the only complaint I have, is that on the larger brush, there was one bristle that was thicker than the others. It was scratchy upon application, but I was able to single it out and cut it with a small nail scissors. I can’t even tell that there is a missing bristle, and the application is perfect!The handle itself is plastic, and towards the head of the brush it’s a little flimsy. If you use them, don’t be aggressive and apply too much pressure, because it may break. But if you’re gentle, there are no problems. The flexibility from that area actually kind of helps when going over the slight contours everyone has on their face.I highly recommend this product, even with the two drawback is noticed. Don’t waste your money on those super expensive brushes, and opt for this pack instead. The seller is great, sends very quickly, and offers discounts as well.I’m excited to try their other products, because these are so amazing!!

Completely honest review here, worth it for 9.98 price
I received my brushes in the mail today, the packaging got a little dinged up during shipping but it’s okay all my brushes arrived unharmed lol The brushes came in a little box inside a plastic pouch with a cute note from the company included, the English was a little funny but I appreciate it lol after I opened them up I went to check for some fallout of the hairs which there was some, but it wasn’t horrible. Some of the hairs are out of place so they’re not 100% perfect. Honestly I paid 9.98 for them and used my prime. I did not wash them yet but I did apply makeup with them. The application was pretty awesome for the price. I would not pay full price for these brushes though with the fallout and imperfections plus the fact that you can receive similar brushes and more of them for the same or less full listed price but for 9.98 these brushes are so worth it. They are soft and the handle is durable. I used the largest for foundation the second largest for concealer and the smallest for contour. I used the longest “liner brush” for my nose contour (which if you love nose contour is great!) and I blended out all the contour with the second largest brush. I used the two smallest round brushes for shadow the flat round for applying a base and the rounded for blending a subtle color in the crease. I also used the smallest “liner brush” for shadow under the water line. Everything blended out pretty smoothly though I can’t say I’d rely heavily on the shadow brushes. I will update with how they hold up after washing them. Over all if you’re buying for 9.98 I would definitely do it! They’re definitely worth it.

Decent Brushes
I really enjoyed these brushes! They are pretty good for the price. The face brushes worked the best for me and are semi soft. They blended out my foundation very nicely and it looked natural. The eye brushes were a bit too harsh for me though. I was able to use those for the brow bone and for highlighter. The rest of the brushes like the narrow ones can be used for eyebrows or for eyeliner. I would recommend these for the face rather than for the eyes. They are decent brushes though I am happy with them.

For BLENDING!
These are just like the super expensive ones with different handles made of metal, silver, brass, etc. But you get these for much cheaper because of the plastic they are made of. Personally the brush part is literally doing the exact same thing. Keep in mind these are not best for applying face makeup! These are great for BLENDING it! They make it so you dont have creases in your makeup or darker or lighter spots on your face. They blend the makeup contouring very smoothly. These should not replace your best big makeup brush, use your big makeup duster brush to apply your face powder, or eye shadows, or blush, then use these to smooth and blend it in circle motions like you would wheb applying lotion to your face. The brushes with thin lines are nice for applying eyeshadow or concealer around eyes or brow area. The bristles fall out here and there but that also happens with the expensive ones. So thats inevitable. These are great for blending and smoothing the face in my opinion. You get a lot for the price. The packaging is cheap and words are mis-spelled because it is obviously made elsewhere, but that doesnt matter when the product is very useful and looks as pictured, which it is!
