The only thing that works!
This is the only thing that helps my scalp! Since moving back to Florida, my scalp has decided to develop almost like small pimples that keep coming back. I thought it was just the well water where we were living but after moving house to a home with city water it hasn’t changed No matter what I do, i’ve tried all kinds of other things to get rid of it. And the only thing that works is this! within a day of my cycle, my scalp will break out unbearably like it hurts to brush, mine will come in as clusters of a few in one place idk why but it is what it is, this will get rid of that within a couple of days! my scalp is completely healed! The painful tiny blister like what i call zits lol are gone! But my ends Hate this shampoo, however the effectiveness of the product is awesome so I’ll deal with it! I pair it with the grow long leave in spray conditioner I also get here on Amazon and my hair is great and the relief is amazing! I wish they made a bigger bottle tho! I have hair down to about my middle back, but i only use this on my scalp as I said, so it lasts me about a month per bottle and I let it sit while I shave my legs etc, and rinse very well because it is thick! The smell isn’t an issue for me because my leave in smells great and I only smell that once my hair is dried. As for shine well it doesn’t do that since it’s sort of drying for my naturally wavy hair.

Very good shampoo for product buildup and itchy scalp
Iâve used this shampoo for a few months now and it had tremendously helped my scalp and u feel like it is not harming my hair either.
I tried it because I was having scalp issues and had already tried several other brands with no luck at all. I tried this brand and within a week or two my scalp was much better and after using it consistently for a while, Iâm not having the problems associated with the itching nearly as often.
This is a good lathering shampoo and it doesnât take much at all. When you use it the first time you will notice that your hair feels clean and soft afterwards. I recommend giving this a try if you are having scalp issues.

Healing my folliculitis bumps & scabs!
I hate my scalp ever since I turned 40. Iâm 42 and am dealing with perimenopause. Whatever hormonal imbalance I have going on is wreaking havoc on my scalp; my hair is falling out, my scalp gets buildup easily, and I break out with painful folliculitis very easily. Iâm an anxious picker by nature, so I tend to mess with the bumps and create scabs.
Iâve been trying scalp rinses (like the Inkey Listâs Glycolic Acid) and medicated shampoos like Nizoral (one of the better shampoos Iâve tried). Iâm still having breakouts, so I decided to try T-Sal.
Itâs WORKING! My scalp doesnât feel too dry, and it definitely feels cleaner. Less build-up by day 2-3 of no washing. My scabs are healing and I havenât had a new breakout or bump since starting it. I use it 2x/week and always double wash; first I wash with this stuff to clean my scalp and get rid of buildup & oil and make sure to let it sit for ~3-5 mins, then I do a second wash with a more hydrating shampoo. Works like a charm!
I just wish it had a better scent, but Iâm sure fragrance-free is better for me. Prior to this I was also using Neutrogenaâs Healthy Scalp clarifying shampoo (pink bottle), which smells like fresh, juicy grapefruit. That one cleans oil from my hair well and helps remove product buildup. I might use that AND t-sal now!

Great Alcohol-free, Non-drying Dandruff Shampoo!
After 4 months, Iâve finally emptied this bottle of shampoo!! I purchased this to treat mild dandruff (white, small dry flakes), itchiness, and occasional redness/irritation.
I used it about 2x – 3x a week as my main shampoo. I have short, 2c/3a curly hair. Most of the time I left the lather on my head for 7 minutes. After rinsing, I conditioned with Seaweed Bath Co Gloss Conditioner afterwards – just a normal conditioner.
This shampoo immediately decreased the severity of my scalp issues. After washing, I had little to no flaking and the flakes overall got smaller. Itchiness decreased, and redness went away. Being regular about it is key. Something I noticed about the smell of the shampoo was thatâ¦it seemed to correlate directly with how yuck my scalp was LOL
Something that makes this product stand out is how non-drying it is. I feel like other dandruff shampoos leave my hair feeling more rough and dull after the same styling routine. Not this one!!

Didnât help with oil scalp
I have ordered this shampoo for my husband who struggles with his oily scalp so bad. This shampoo claims that it will help with oil buildup, but unfortunately for after using it for one than one month, my husband didnât see any difference. It cleans your hair nicely, but doesnât fulfil the claim on the bottle.

seems like every shampoo i used caused some kind of negative result on my scalp; even the expensive ones from my dermotologist. I used to get soreness on my scalp, flaking and dry skin after shampooing and after a day, my scalp is super itchy and oily. Even though i washed twice a day, i was getting this and it was soooo frustrating.
After research i looked for shampoos with salylicic acid and this Neutrogena one is awesome!! There is no smell and it lathers up well so you donât need much at a time. During the wash, i did not feel the soreness and post wash my scalp felt so free; like it could breathe again!! Its the second day now and my scalp is not oily or itchy and no hairs falling out too. Will definitely buy again!!
