These are great!
I really trust these. Natracare tampons are manufactured in Europe under strict guidlines in a sterile environment. They are organic cotton with no rayon, and are bleached with hydrogen peroxide instead of chlorine. They are available with applicators and without- in the case of those with applicators, they are cardboard. (I will say Natracare has changed the applicator in the past couple of years, and I’m not totally wild about the new design- sort of an “asterisk” shape at the opening of the cardboard applicator which the tampon must pass through- which I find rather unnecessary) But I still think that these are the best tampons out there. Safe, naturally bleached organic cotton. No scents, no rayon, no plastic applicators, no dioxins, no junk. Simple. Great. I give these as many stars as I can, and then some. Absolutely worth every penny.

No more irritation!
As a “sensitive” skin person, I finally figured out that conventional tampons weren’t doing me any favors either. I would always end my cycle with irritation, itching and a yeast infection kind of feeling. After reading about the causes for this, I learned that other tampons contain chemicals and dyes to bleach the cotton. Also, the cotton causes micrortears in the vaginal wall, leading to the irritation. As if having a monthly period isn’t bad enough, throw in the discomfort of a yeast infection and it’s double trouble! Since using the organic cotton tampons, I haven’t experienced the usual irritation at the end of a few days using tampons!

These are the only tampons I use
On heavy days, I do need to switch them out in under two hours so I feel that even for regular, they could be a little more absorbent but they are comfortable and I feel better knowing they arenât filled with chemicals. Iâm petite and just canât get the hang of cups or disks.

These are good
I was very excited to find an organic tampon with an applicator. These are quite good. The only think I didn’t like was that they are bigger than what I am used to. Normally, I get the ‘slender regular’ in the non-organic tampons and these are just ‘regular’. I’ll have to see if Natracare have another, slightly lighter, variety.

Doesn’t test on animals
I love the products offered by this company because they don’t test on animals. I found a list on the PETA website that told me all of the companys that are animal friendly and I’m doing my best to purchase products from that list. The products from this line are also not bleached which I heard can cause you to bleed more. It’s bad enough to have products that impact the environment in a negative way, why would I want to put it so close to my body.

Best tampons I’ve ever used
Soooo happy lol. I ordered a different brand ages ago, and they cut and scratched so bad!! I was hesitant with these. But thank heavens they work marvelously. The string could be a touch longer, but that’s no big deal. And to get it to run ‘smoothly’, you do have to push it forward in its applicator just a bit so the cotton protrudes slightly from the applicator. Sooooo glad they’re not scratchy and irritating!

Be very careful!!!
Be very careful with these. I donât know if my PH just didnât react well or what. But last night I put one of these in before bed. First time trying. When I woke up and went to take it out the string was gone. No problem usually they still pop right out on the toilet. Except this one wasnât. I tried for two hours with a mirror to get it out and I couldnât. Panic set in and I decided to go to the ER. At the ER they did an exam and told me the tampon had halfway dissolved by my cervix. They had to flush me out and give me a round of antibiotics to prevent an infection. I only had this tampon in a few hours prior to this happening. The hospital said I did nothing wrong and couldnât have prevented this. Just be careful. I donât know if I got a bad batch or what. I will never risk it again though.

Anything in that is natural is the best.

très belle inovation! jolis emballages individuels en papier, très bien! extrêmement confortables! seul bémol: il se trouvent être un peu encombrant; pour cause: ils sont emballés sous leur forme “déployés” dû à l’applicateur.

A great natural alternatives. It’s a bit to get used to the applicator vs plastic ones but I still recommend.

Igual que los tampax normales, lo único el precio, sale mucho más caro.

Super! The best tampons available in Europe. No plastic, applicator works well, nice organic cotton so no yucky toxins, and a decent price too from Parkem Retsil (good seller I’ve bought many times from).
