Great deodorant
I love the smell it smells like lavender and eucalyptus. Yes, I know the smell is the lavender and rose, however, I like that the rose is not overpowering, and it just reminds me of eucalyptus. I don’t know why. Way better than other natural deodorants I used. It doesn’t stain my clothes like the other ones did and it lasts a lot longer on my under arms. I also don’t sweat through it. It does not give me a rash like other natural deodorants do. It’s like regular deodorant, but healthier, and I love the smell! Also, I love the new packaging they put it in. It’s not the hard plastic like it usually is. It’s like a durable cardboard.

Great plastic-free option!
I bought this primarily because I’m trying to find ways to reduce the amount of plastic I use. I ordered the Native deodorant that comes in a cardboard tube. I had kind of low expectations, but honestly I have been pleasantly surprised. The cardboard holds up great as long as you don’t put your deodorant on like Sasquatch. It’s easy to push up the base of the tube to access the deodorant, and then put the top back on. No issues whatsoever. The deodorant itself works about as well as other aluminum-free options I’ve tried – if it’s hot, I usually have to re-apply partway through the day, but overall it works fine. Smells great (I started with the lavender, then ordered the three-pack with different scents. Lavender is still my favorite!). So, if you are trying to find ways to reduce your plastic waste, give this a try. Imagine if this type of packaging was the norm rather than the exception. What a world 🙂 Be the change!!

Sustainable, fragrance free option, sufficient for not-so-sweaty people
As a person who prefers fragrance free body care, the Native deodorant represents a good option that’s also sustainable and (slightly more) natural.Personally I don’t like any of the scented options of Native, maybe the Coconut Vanilla is tolerable. The scents are too strong, but I know that others like that. I want my body care to smell of nothing at all; if I want to smell good, I’ll use a fragrance afterwards.The fragrance free Native deodorant helps me smell of nothing… just clean. It’s not the most efficient deodorant (not even from the more natural options), but I’m not also the most sweaty or stinky person. Most time of the year the Native deodorant is just enough; and if I hike for a day in the hot summer… there will be more stinky and sweaty things than my arm pits.The selling point for me with native is the plastic free packaging, since I try to be less wasteful and more sustainable in my daily life.Don’t be fooled by the cardboard packaging. Yes, in time it gets slightly oily and you can see in the picture that after a couple of months the cardboard looks yellow… but it’s perfectly functional and won’t disintegrate before you use up the deodorant.I have sensitive skin and the Native deodorant fragrance free doesn’t irritate my armpits even after shaving. Usually from the regular deodorants / antiperspirant with aluminum my armpits get slightly darkened, with Native I have no issue.The deodorant is creamy and glides easily. It stains the clothes, but I have a solution for that. I apply the deodorant at night and it the morning I wipe any excess.

Ja – dieses Deo ist sehr teuer! Aber den Preis ist es absolut wert. Die Stärke des herrlichen Duftes läßt nach ein paar Minuten nach, aber der Schutz bleibt vom Morgen bis in die Nacht erhalten. Keine Reizungen – keine Flecken auf Kleidung oder Dessous – perfekt!
