Paul Mitchell is the absolute best
Brief: Great product, the most matte product I’ve ever found and incredibly strong hold once it dries (20-30 seconds after spreading across your hands)I care about my hair more than I should. A bad hair day means I’m putting on a hat and calling it good. Paul Mitchell’s lineup is the only product I have used for 6 or 7 years now. I use the clean cut as my primary because I like that it stays maliable and has nice texture. It’s a great option when my hair is freshly cut. After 2-3 weeks is starts to look overgrown and if I use the clean cut it can sometimes seems greasy. This is when I switch to this particular variation. It’s very moist when you apply it to your hands, then starts to dry rapidly after about 20-30 seconds. Long enough to apply it without it being hard to spread, but you have to know how you’re styling it once it’s in.It’s not gel-like stiffness at all, it’s almost like my hair would be after a game when I was a catcher in baseball. I know this is a niche group that will understand but there is a dryness and clay-esque feeling about your hair when the dust/dirt/sweat mixes under the helmet. It doesn’t give much if a textured look but for a somebody that runs a 2 or 3 guard on the side on a fresh cut and goes 3-4 weeks between appointments it’s a nice way to keep a clean look for the last week or so before your next cut.

I used Hanz De Fuko a lot and I usually go off based on Amazon review. However, I decided to try Mitch because I kind of don’t like how Hanz De Fuko is a bit dry for their paste. I decided to test this product by going to the club and this product is now my new favorite. I mean the paste is much softer than Hanz De Fuko and it doesn’t have that weird smell. The smell from Mitch is definitely sandalwood and the hold is amazing will definitely use this product when go to work cause it is what Im looking for. Medium hold and smell great. Definitely gonna replace my previous claymation to this.

I bought this product in June, less than 60 days ago for $18 and today it’s $24 what’s happened that it’s 33% more expensive in less than 60 days. I love the product, But I’ll spend $24 on any other product just because I feel like I’m being taken advantage of with the price increase that large in such a short of a period of time. you can keep it. The thousands of other product to choose from, and I’ll happily pick one of them

Decided to try something new, even though I know better. Not a fan of this stuff. Many reviews state that the formula has changed. Perhaps that’s the problem. It dries almost instantly, even when my hair is rather damp. Doesn’t allow time to style and mold before it sets and gets crusty. Get it right the 1st time, or you will need to rinse it out and start over. I’ll be sticking with my faithful Redken Work Hard.

I’ve used other hair products before to try and get my perfect “swoop”. This stuff is great. Doesn’t feel thick at all but holds like no other. Can mess around with my hair and it works well to manipulate throughout the day. Highly recommend.
