Easy to use, slim, has some power
Ordered April 22 2019.I love the fact that this file was very slim. It fit in my hand very comfortably. There were two speeds which were sufficient for my beginner needs. It also had a switch that you could rotate the head in the opposite direction. So if you were left-handed that comes in handy, or if you turn your nails towards you and want to bring it down instead of going up then you can just simply reverse the direction of the drill. Took me a minute to figure out why they needed to do that but once I got it oh, it was wonderful. I just received this yesterday I used it to take acrylic off and it worked just fine. As a matter of fact I had to be careful that I didn’t go down too far. So then I switched to soaking them a little bit and acetone first then using the drill took no time at all to remove the acetone. It was also good for filing down my nails cuz because I wanted them shorter. It comes with so many different interchangeable heads till I can’t imagine I would ever need anything else! It has a lot a whole lot of the regular file type tips. I think they will last me for years! The instructions are very simple and very clear. Explain what each of the tips are used for and I think that’s pretty much all you need other than how to cut it on and off which is very simple. I think the only thing I personally would have changed and this could just be me, is that the reverse switch and the switch to make it more powerful it’s not on the wand itself. It’s further down the cord. So if you doing your nails you actually to stop re-adjust and then go back to finish up. When you’re doing that several times Purnell to change a direction or speed it can be somewhat tedious. But other than that right out of the box work fine I used it, and then about five or six hours later I came back to do my other hand. Because after I took off my acrylic I put on some gel that I just bought and we’ll be writing about that. All in all a wonderful tool. I’m actually thinking about purchasing another one for my daughter. But we shall see. I read other you saying that after so many uses it kind of stopped working. So I’ll leave you again later. But I also believe that this is a slightly different model, that they’ve upgraded it if you read in the directions below the item it indicates some changes. And also if you scroll through the pictures there’s a code to get extra of the little file tips and on there it kind of indicates that this is an updated version. I would absolutely order this againEdit.2 2021 it stopped working. Had to kind of hold it in one position to use, then stopped totally. For $20 and two years of use by two people, not too shabby.I was in process of ordering another, when I saw I had never submitted the original review!!! Oopsie.

Great Pricepoint!
If you’re looking to buy your first efile, there’s some things to consider first, so you don’t feel duped by buying this. It’s actually a pretty good buy for the price, you just have to know a few things first!â¡ Know Your Bits! This drill comes with diamond bits which are the closer to the softer side of the spectrum when it comes to the level of coarseness in drill bits. Diamond bits are soft enough for cuticle and sensitive area work. If you bought this to sand off gel polish, diamond bits can do that if you’re using moderate rotations per minute (medium rmps) and they’re well made, though I’m not completely sure they won’t soften them. If you want to sand off acrylic or polygel like I did, the sanding bands included didn’t work for that, and those products are too hard for diamond bits and sanding bands, so think of what your main purpose for buying this drill is, and get yourself bits that fit your needs. I liked the bits included, as well as the sanding bands, but I needed more variety in diamond bits, so 8 bought a set here for less than $10. I’d reccomend getting ceramic bits for sanding off polish and to practice heavier work because you have no idea how easy it is to overfile or hurt yourself with any drill as a beginner! It’s not a death sentence, just like anything, you need practice! Try ceramic and safety bits, then work your way up to carbide, and educate yourself on the color coding system for bit coarseness, and maybe some bit rings to help you choose what to buy and stop dust from eventually breaking your drill! These bits worked well for me! Especially since most of the time I use it to clean up my cuticle areas when my nails start to grow out and the edges of my nail are jagged and catching on things. They were gentle enough to clean me up without damaging my nail beds, cuticles and sidewalls!â¡ This Thing Is Powerful! The range of rotations per minute on this drill are pretty powerful for the price! If it shuts off momentarily while you’re using it, it’s because of the pressure you’re using, not because it’s faulty. That’s a safety precaution related to the rpm speed in well made drills so you don’t hurt yourself by pressing too hard! If you can’t do a particular something with this drill, it might not be the drill itself, but your bit selection and RPM speed. For instance, I couldn’t get top coat and polish off with a diamond bit or sanding band on relatively moderate or high rpms, but I could do it with a ceramic bit on moderate rpms. This drill has plenty power in it and I love that you can adjust it with a wheel, you just have to be learn how much power you need, and what bit fits your task. A sanding band on low isnt getting off topcoat, let alone polygel, so that kind of decision isn’t the drill’s fault lol. Just gotta learn a little!â¡ It’s Not NoisyEven though it’s powerful, it’s not loud. It might feel loud if you’re not use to the sound, but I find it pretty standard. It does tend to kind of shake and is harder to control when the rpms are pretty high, but I don’t usually need it to be all the way up, so that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Anything other than as high as it could go didn’t cause that shake for me, so medium and low are my sweet spots.â¡ Isnt Usb But Still GoodThis drill doesn’t have a usb charger, just the cord directly attached to the drill. I wish it did so that if I ever had just a cord issue, I wouldn’t have to buy another drill, but that’s personal preference. Plenty appliances I have without usb chargers work just fine, even years later, so that’s not a deal breaker for the price, in my opinion.Try it out! An extra $10 – $20 could get you a more rounded bit selection, but this is a wonderful drill that doesn’t break the bank! Great for beginners and powerful enough for a novice or expert!

Very happy
Surprisingly goodGreat deal and saved me some money and time versus spending all day at the salon. This is my first electric drill but I have no complaints. I suppose the extension cord could be a tad longer but itâs a steal for price and the extra bits are great

i am just starting out doing my own nails and this is perfect, be careful when using this that you use the side of the drill bits and not the tips as they can gouge the nail, this has good power and seems to be great quality, i bought some extra bits and they are perfect together

I purchased the first one to do my Dad’s toe nails. He is 77 years old and doesn’t look after them. Worked excellent! I decided to get this for myself because I love the ease of use. You can adjust the speed easily. Oh and I bought my Dad’s 3 years ago and still works like the first day I bought it. Excellent product!

I bought a Series P drill earlier this year and I have used it A LOT. Suddenly, after the warrenty expired, it died for an unknown reason. I contact them with my Amazon bill and THEY STOOD BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. Lune asked me to send her a video to ensure that my complaint was legit and one day after receiving it, I received the brand new replacement. I was really happy with the product prior to this problem, but now I am SOLD on Melody Susie as a brand.

I bought this last year when I first got into doing my own gel nails at home. Itâs great for beginners, pretty user friendly, and if it didnât break I probably would still be using it.Itâs light weight and easy to hold. But even at the highest setting, if you put pressure on the bit it would stop, which made for some uneven nails, scorched nail beds and torn cuticles. But with care it did the job.Just recently it stopped working, I think itâs a broken wire in the cord, the power cord needs to be held at a very specific angle or the file turns off. This was the reason why I replaced it, I was pretty disappointed because I take good care of my things, it was always stored properly and no stress or strain was put on the power cord.
