Space-saving light up make-up mirror with multiple magnifications
Flawless make-up every time is so much easier if you have good lighting and a great mirror.Instead of leaning over the bathroom sink furrowing your brow trying to see if your eyeliner is actually going on straight, get this mirror and simplify your life.Space-saving design. Pedestal detaches for storage. Mirror sides fold in to further reduce size. Assembles in seconds so you’re not late for dinner – again.Lighted mirror – Shadows are the bane of any make-up application. Even in a poorly lit room, this mirror shines to help you apply your make-up right the first time. Also eliminates that “it looked good in the bathroom/bedroom” but it’s not quite right under work or outdoor lighting situation.Magnification – Main mirror is regular what you see is what you get. Side mirrors have different magnification so that you can tailor your mirror usage to what you’re working to apply while still getting a good overall view in the main mirror. One caveat – the hinges are fragile. Unsure if this would travel well as the first one arrived damaged. The hinge has a somewhat brittle plastic piece which had shattered. The replacement fared better so it’s possible that was just a manufacturing defect.

Lights are dim, but mirror works great!
Husband picked this up for his dressing space. So he can do an inspection when suiting up for work or fancy occasions. Assembly was super easy. Slide the base onto the arm and presto – it’s assembled. The base also has a small tray there for your tiny whatnots. The mirror opens up with two side doors and also swivels up and down on the armature. It takes up to 4 AAA batteries to power the LED lights. There’s also a port to plug in mini-usb cable. The cable is included, but a power pack to plug into the wall is not.The mirrors look great. The right arm and the center are standard magnification. But the left wing has a 2X and a 3X magnification. Handy if you really need to get in there and address tiny pores. The only issue we had with it was that the LEDs are not bright enough to be useful. In standard room lighting, they were practically invisible. Not helpful at all. But with batteries in, they held a charge for a good long while and showed no signs of dimming. Used in a room with good lighting, this mirror will be a hit!

It’s alright.
By itself without lights the mirror is fine. Within the range of you get what you pay for. The mirror itself is pretty nice, no weird distortions or warping, pretty true to life. Like the versatility of the angles provided, the little valet compartment is useful for objects that’d roll off your table.Overall, the build quality is kind of “meh”. It’s a lightweight plastic, fine for average use I’d think but if you’re prone to drops I don’t know how long it will last. Down the line here, the lights are pretty awful. If you’re trying to use a mirror in the pitch darkness of night, it might let you see yourself. In broad daylight, if I didn’t see the lights around the mirror, I wouldn’t know that it’s on. It’s so insanely faint it’s basically useless in terms of a lighted mirror application. Requiring FOUR AAA batteries it should be some wild illumination, but here we are. Really let down by this one.Overall it’s not the worst, if you don’t need the lights and don’t have kids or invasive cats, should be solid. Otherwise I’d probably look elsewhere.

Nice Makeup Mirror – hate the hobby / craft
So my eldest recently had a birthday and received the dreaded makeup kit.Being the parents that tries their best to “keep up with the joneses” at least for the kiddos wanted a basic vanity mirror which this fit the bill! For us it was the “GoldiLocks” of make up mirrors. Not too big and Not too small. Uses batteries as the kids moved all over the place with this to “do their makeup”. Surprisingly my kids figured out by using the included usb cable.. it direct powers from their chromebooks the vanity.. so they hardly ever use the batteries anyways. So begins countless hours of youtube video tutorials and already have a wishlist of additional cosmetics and tools ..Nice Makeup Mirror – hate the hobby / craft!
