Handy to have for quick cleaning
This is handy to have for quick cleaning makeup brushes. It’s nice to have it and just drop a brush or two in there when you have other things to do and save the deep hand cleaning process for later. I dropped a few drops of makeup brush cleaner in with it seems to help. Overall it does the job.

So I paint with oils and my brush gets really caked up after using it. At first, I tried using brush cleaner but seemed like a waste because you have to soak your brush in the cleaner and there’s nothing to hold the brush in at the right height. So I ended up using this with water and Dawn dishsoap which actually works pretty well. There’s a plastic impeller at the bottom of the cup that you can use to agitate your brush though it’s not that strong and will stall easily. But the swirling action is good enough to wash away the paint. Sometimes I just use the sides of the cup to press on the brush so the soap can get in between the bristles. If the impeller had a stronger motor with more torque and if there were an adjustable brush holder that can hold a brush at a specific height, then this would have been a 5-star product.

This is like a toy
Well i expected this to be a bit bigger than it is but it’s not a huge deal. From the looks of it online, it looks like it can handle multiple brushes at once but it seriously cannot. The little plastic piece in the bottom that spins, gets caught up and won’t spin if you have more than one brush in at a time which really defeats the purpose. Most of us that wear make up have an entire brush set and doing only one at a time and having the change the water every single time is a complete waste of time. Some brushes came clean others, not much at all. This really isn’t worth it for me since I have a lot of brushes and this cannot handle the job. As I said, it’s basically a child’s toy is what this gives off. Great for a couple small brushes but even then it struggles.

Helpful But Could Be Stronger
Iâm using this for small craft paint brushes. The cleaner works, but it would be better if it spun faster to remove paint more thoroughlyâ¦..but perhaps for its stated purpose of makeup it would accomplish that. Itâs powered by a USB cord, which is a little inconvenient. You need some sort of USB outlet to connect to its short cord.Itâs nice that the top comes off so you can get into it more easily to clean it. It is best if you stick to cleaning only two or three brushes at a time.
