This goes on super smooth, feels silky and light weight. I am fair skinned and in my upper 30âs so was looking for something that wonât get into cracks and pores to highlight my skins short comings and think this will work. It almost feels powder based, and next time think I will put moisturizing on first. I found my color via my Sephora profile, so if you have one, would highly recommend that route (if they have photographed your skin). Overall happy with the purchase.

Truly Lightweight, Surprising Amount of Coverage
I enjoy Laura Mercier products, the OG translucent setting powder is still the best. I was excited to try this as the shade I wanted was available to me.I usually prefer concealer to foundation as it simply holds up better, but I love trying new base products. This lives up to most of the claims made by the brand but not all. For reference I have very pale, oily, mid-thirties skin. I’ve swatched some of my other base products in a photo for comparison.The frosted glass bottle is nice and what you’d expect from a high end product. One pump dispenses exactly the right amount- not very much. I had read some conflicting opinions on this foundation and I believe some people who hate it are using way too much. The texture is very lightweight and serum like, but the coverage is pretty high, definitely medium to full. I prefer to apply with my fingers as it melts into the skin easily. Lightweight primers are going to work best for this as it would sit on top of a heavy blurring silicone primer. I liked the Natasha Denona primer serum best with it.The shade I picked (Satin 0W1) was a great match, it looks quite yellow in the swatch but it blends out perfectly, it’s just highly pigmented. The finish is very natural, not super matte but not dewy. All my other makeup applies nicely over top and I set it with a bit of the LM translucent powder and setting spray.My only issue is the longevity claims. After a few hours (6-8) it does tend to crease and settle a little compared to my other concealers I usually wear as a base and apply the same way, which never budge. I also find the waterproof claim to be odd, it doesn’t seem to be particularly resistant.Otherwise it’s a very nice, very comfortable foundation, it doesn’t feel like wearing anything.

New favorite makeup
I love this makeup! A little goes a long way and one pump is plenty for my face. I use a brush to apply it. The coverage is pretty light and it evens out my skin tone nicely. For a night out, I might use a second pump but I donât find that necessary for daily wear. It blends easily and looks and feels very natural. It stays on all day and doesnât rub off. I remove it by applying a cream type cleaner to a dry face and then rinse with warm water. Iâve had a hard time finding a makeup that I like and the search is finally over!
