Great coverage
Easy to apply and layer for the coverage desired. Doesn’t last as long as some liquid foundations I’ve used, but it doesn’t settle into my lines. Ithas a natural look that feels creamy and light weight.

I honestly never know if Iâm going to like something right away.Howeverâ¦just received this today and Iâm already in love!Iâve been using many of the Laura Geller products for several years, including the baked, balanced and brighten makeup. Everything Iâve purchased has lasted an incredibly long time due to the pigmentation. It doesnât take much .I never really felt like I was getting the covered I wanted or needed from the baked and balanced.I decided to try this Double Take Baked and it is great! It is every bit as light and smooth going on but the coverage is great. Just one coat of this looks better than 2 coats of the other.Customer for life. By the way Iâm 65!

Good coverage
I have been looking for a medium coverage powder foundation since mary kay changed their formula. Tried this one and noticed is does not blend well with any type of moisturizer under it. I use a retinal eye stick under my foundation and it turns very cakes over that area immediately. I do have some fine lines and very oily skin. I found the foundation would settle into the lines after a few hours. When I tried to blend it out it would just be flake off and look terrible. It does cover very well and initially my skin would looked flawless. Probably would work for someone with dryer skin. My skin is probably just too oily for this product.

Perfect coverage

The full coverage that I didn’t know I needed
I usually prefer my trusty Balance-N-Brighten, but the morning after a throat surgery, I woke up with some spectacular bruising and discoloration on my face. I looked at the mirror, gasped, and saw it was time to order Double Take. I’m so glad I did, because even without concealer, the Double Take hid a multitude of sins despite feeling lightweight. I haven’t yet tried it with the wet sponge. I applied Double Take dry with a kabuki brush, then misted my face very very lightly with water for a slightly more natural/dewy look. The coverage is great, and I think it’s a good value given the performance of the product. I found the color match for my fair skin with pink/blue tones was excellent.

I liked that this foundation provided a lot more cover than the Baked Balance-n-Brighten Colour Correcting foundation. However I ordered it in Fair and it is almost a ghostly white! I have the baked balance one in Fair and it is perfect, so figured Iâd order the same shade in a different product.
