What should I look for in a sunscreen for sensitive skin?

For sensitive skin, dermatologists often recommended looking for mineral sunscreens that contain either zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide. All Anthelios sunscreens are tested on sensitive skin. All formulated and tested for optimal skin tolerance.

What’s the difference between a chemical (organic) and mineral (physical) sunscreen?

Mineral sunscreens contain mineral ingredients like zinc oxide & titanium dioxide sit on the top layer of skin & reflect and scatter UV rays. Chemical sunscreens contain organic compounds like octocrylene & avobenzone absorb UV rays on the skin.

What are the advantages and disadvantages to chemical vs mineral sunscreens?

Mineral sunscreens work as soon as you apply onto skin, but because they sit directly on the skin may rub or sweat off more easily than chemical sunscreens that take at least 15min to properly absorb, meaning skin may not be immediately protected.

    Hyperpigmentation Fades
I have alot of Hyperpigmentation all over my body. I have worked very hard using alot of products and procedures to get rid of them on my face, only for them to always quickly return. This is the only sunblock out of the MANY I’ve used that not only stops it from returning. But appears to lighten them. So much so that my dermatologist actually commented on it. Which is the first time in a decade. So I know it isn’t just my imagination. Who knows… maybe it’s the products taking the dark spots away, but this sunblock definitely keeps them from returning. I’m sooooo glad I finally tried this incredible 100SPF Sunblock. I will continue to use it daily from now on.

    Great product
It is very good item overall while still affordable price considering its benefits. I think that the only possible improvement for this is to make it even more convenient to apply which is very uncommon and hard for these products. Also, to make it last more than 2 hours without the need to reapply (Note: Currently sunscreen that doesn’t degrade after 2 hours doesn’t exist, so its not a problem of this particular product but for all sunscreens.)

The best you use for your face is sunscreen!!!
Amazing daily sunscreen with the benefits of moisturizing and skin care, you can use it before doing your make up and won’t messed it up, none greasy and has never make my skin breakout like other products.

Love it’s smooth and nonsticky feel! Worth the price!
I am outside a great deal daily and especially during the sunny months in S.Carolina.The effectiveness on my face and exposed skin in the high UV exposure is excellent.Does have a light scent, but not overdone in my opinion, I can be sensitive to strong scents.Absorbs nicely limiting that tacky feel while I’m out in garden or playing with the dog in the pool.

  6. Just my opinion

    Thick but effective
This product goes on thick no matter how thin you try to put it on. It is also greasy and doesn’t absorb down to a matte finish. However, it is effective at keeping your skin protected from the sun and good for sensitive skin. It goes on well over moisturizer when given time to absorb but I’m not sure if makeup foundation would go on well.So it seems you would need to decide which pros and cons would work for you.

    My Go-to facial sunscreen
I only use this sunscreen brand on my face, as I have sensitive skin. It is not oily at all, absorbs easily and provides great protection. It also does not contain as many chemicals as some other popular brands.

    I want moreee!
This is the only sunscreen I use now! It’s super expensive where I’m from so buying online makes sense! And the sun be getting hotter and causing more issues every year! SPF 100 all the way.
