A Game-Changer for Thick, Long Hair
As someone with thick, long hair, Iâm always on the hunt for styling tools that actually work without taking up so much time. These rods exceeded my expectations and have become my go-to for effortless waves and that Victoriaâs Secret blowout look.The best part? They were super easy to figure out, I got the hang of using them on my first try. The people that say the fall out, are not actually using them the correct way. That girl in the video review didnât twist the rods. You have to cross the rods and then they are in place and stay! You simply have to go almost to the end of your hair, making sure you are holding that section taunt and all the way extended with your arms and start rolling. Tucks that little end in while rolling half way and youâre good. I think the majority of bad reviews are all user error tbh. If youâre planning to leave them in for a few hours, your hair should be about 90% dry for the best results. For a quick blowout vibe, you donât even need freshly washed hair. Just dampen your strands slightly with your hands, pop the rods in for an hour or two while youâre getting ready, and voila! gorgeous, bouncy curls. In my pictures, I only had them in an hour or two on completely dry second day hair, brushed them out and got a nice wavy blowout look. Iâve also done full out curls too for a Christmas party.These rollers stay in place really well and donât slide around, which was a big win for me when Iâm getting ready or picking up my toddlers toys. Theyâre comfortable enough for daytime wear, but I donât use them overnightâmostly because they work so quickly that you donât need to! The curls also last all day, which is impressive for heatless styling. The key is where your place them. If anyone wants a tutorial let me know!!Overall, these are an absolute must-have if you want salon-quality curls without the hassle. Theyâre easy to use, gentle on your hair, and deliver consistent results every time. Highly recommend! Iâm buying another set!

It gives good curls. No water needed.
Iâve used bendy rod rollers in the past for wet sets. Saw these and wanted to try this satin wrapped type. For my hair, dampness on a blowout does not work so I rolled them dry and still got really good curls overnight.I do think at least 10 should be in a pack for this price. I had to buy two packs to comer my head and I think price is also a bit too high.I will report back to see if curls last all day but Iâm loving it. Didnât see a lot of pics of hair like mine so I wanted to add. My hair is natural and I usually wear it in a wash n go style. This kept me from adding more heat to get curls.

Not sure if maybe these are just not made for thick or long hair (and i would think it was operator error if other companies products didn’t work for me as well) but the rods do not bend easy and are not large enough for my hair (its about mid back). I have found other companies with larger more flexible barrels to hold better and create the look these promise but failed.

Rosewood Version Only!
The rosewood version that bend is the only version that curls my hair and stays in place. The ones with the button did not curl my hair even when I got them to stay and leave my hair a mess. There is a learning curve when it comes to putting them in, but Iâd only recommend the bending ones NOT the ones with the bottom on the end.

Imagine my disappointment
I followed the directions on the box, but these didn’t stay in my hair well at all. When I finally got them to stay in place, they gave me the worst headache. I couldn’t leave these in all night; I barely made it two hours before I had to remove them.These were awful I would never buy another set, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Sorry Iâm with the crowd that does not know how these work no matter how hard I tried. These donât have a âsnapâ to keep in place so I have no clue how they are supposed to stay at least in a semi practical way?

Works on fine slightly wavy hair
So Iâve only had this for less than 24 hours and here is what Iâve learned.1) There IS a trial and error moment I went through. It does get easier with practice, but give yourself time to figure it all out.2) DRY hair is best (at least for my hair). Tried it when damp and curls didnât really form. Did with dry hair and definitely there was more curl. I have fine straight/slightly wavy hair. And dry hair did great.3) Unless you do 4 sections that are to the side of your head, and you have a very very very flat pillowâ¦.no sleeping in these is happening. I did try four sections of my hair and to see if I could lay down as the back of my head didnât have a curler on it. Annnndddd no pillow. I had to have my head down on the bed so I was fully straight and even then it wasnât comfortable. So sleeping will be hard.4) within 1 hour my dry hair was curled at the ends. But do to me doing it , one side definitely looked different than the other side. Again practice but donât expect uniformity one your first attempts.Donât know if these will stay throughout the day as I put my hair up for work. But I can see it lasting for at minimum a picture or two in the beginning. (I need to practice for a wedding Iâm attending). O

I thought these were a little pricey compared to others but I just tried them for the first time and WOW. I chose to sleep in them overnight using 5 of them in large sections down my head and I woke up for work with the biggest, bounciest curls that stayed put most of the day (without hairspray or products). I love these now – brilliant! Easy to put in and bend, fairly comfortable to sleep in and you just unfold, roll out, shake your head and go. Felt like a diva at work today!!
