No clip to break off, sturdy comb that does a great job for touch ups during the day. I’m active USAF and taking a hat on and off all day (inside and outside) can really play havoc on a high and tight that uses a good pomade to stay in regulation haircut. This comb is a lifesaver to have and I honestly forget its in my pocket its so nice and compact. Sturdy when folded up so no worrying about it breaking and even though its all plastic it feels good and doesn’t seem like it’ll break any time soon or ever unless I really abuse it. The comb part of it itself is definitely long enough to do anything I need to do as well.Added bonus is I feel like a 50s greaser every time I take it out to fix my hair. Just as long as I don’t start singing “Greased Lightning” out of nowhere I think this is a keeper…

I think I like it
I never owned a folding comb before, so I’m not sure I can compare it, but I do know the comb part itself does a great job on my hair. Very good quality comb.It feels good in my pocket and it’s fun to open it before using, but I do find it tends to feel a little loose and floppy when in use. I like it anyway though, because I think it’s cool. If you want something that’s going to feel super solid and indestructible I’m not sure this is it though.

I’m a convert – and the “jackknife” stule is more pocketable
Man, does this mean I’m finally a grown up?OK first the comb line itself. The theory is that molded combs (which these are not) don’t come out of the mold smooth and their are barbs and catches in the teeth. These are cut from stock instead of molded so reduce/eliminate those imperfections so the comb runs smooth and doesn’t pull or break hairsI was optimistic, but with a grain of salt…after using them I think the theory is valid and I can run a finer tooth without snagsthey are high quality combsThe “jackknife” style makes them easier to pocket w/o the teeth catching on anything and while the teeth are still the length of the folded comb, you get the teeth with a handle (like a jackknife) you you aren’t trying to hold directly over the teeth — IOW an effectively longer comb

Nice comb but hard to unfold
Like other reviews have said this comb can be really difficult to unfold which personally makes it unhelpful for me but once unfolded the comb feels pretty sturdy which is nice because Iâve definitely broken multiple combs and brushes just trying to brush my hair. If I am in the market for a hairbrush or comb to keep in my daily bag again I am unsure if I would repurchase this exact product but I would look at other Kent products.

Peine de muy buena calidad y hechura, lo utilizo en cabello, barba y bigote. Si no necesitas que sea portatil resultan mejor los modelos tradicionales ya que con éste si te descuidas te jala la barba justo donde está el perno

Si no fuera plegable, las púas se irÃan enganchando todo el rato en tu bolsillo, estarÃa sucio y poco higiénico y podrÃa rayarte o estropearte otras cosas que lleves.Kent es una marca británica, como no podÃa ser de otra manera con ese nombre, con mucho prestigio y proveedor oficial de la casa real, como indican en el packaging. Sello de reconociiento que se obtiene pagando, claro, pero también ofreciendo una alta calidad, ya la casa real británica no va a permitir que se manche su reputación con cualquier producto.En cuanto al peine en sÃ, es bonito, está bien hecho, tiene un buen tamaño y además está hecho a mano.Es ligero, muy plano y plegado queda tan corto como una navaja multiusos mediana, de modo que desplegado tiene el tamaño de un peine normal con una buena zona para agarrarlo y plegado mide menos que cualquier peine que puedas encontrar, por pequeño que sea.Las letras serigrafiadas en dorado se borran con el uso, pero el peine, las púas y el tornillo aguantan bien tras más de un año. El tornillo no se ha aflojado, hay que empujarlo un poco para abrirlo (no se abre solo todo el tiempo) y la parte móvil no baila. Además, el tornillo no tiene aristas ni puede rascar ni engancharse con nada. También el material en sà y el color se ven bien, que al llevarlo con las llaves serÃa normal que se rayase, pero no se nota.Las medidas son 0,5cm de grosor en el mango, por 2,3cm de alto, por 19cm de largo abierto o 10,5cm plegado.
