Effective, convenient, no mess
My boyfriend has thick and quick-growing nose hair and waxes it regularly. I was very curious for him to try this electronic wax kit. This was his first time trying this type of product. The product arrived well packaged and was in perfect condition. There are 30 applicators included – they are pre-waxed and individually wrapped. There is the tube wax heater, 2 cleaning rods (to scrape any wax residue from inside the heater) and a USB-C cord the wax heater charges/heats with. The wax applicator must be placed into the heater, the cord must be plugged in, and turned on so that the blue light flashes. Then, the power button must be turned on and the indicator light will appear red when it begins to heat up/operate. Then, once the heating is finished the blue light will flash and it remains at this temperature until turned off. My boyfriend was impressed with how simple and mess free the process was. He needed to use multiple applicators to get his nose fully hair-free (as he does with regular wax) but he was able to do all this sitting on the couch and watching TV. Overall, this is a nice product. He just hopes he will be able to find these specific applicator wands once he finishes the 30 that are included.

So the design of this is annoying, but the biggest gripe is it is hard to get an even heat, sometimes melts too much, other times not as much.

This waxing kit works as advertised if you follow the instructions and heat the wax well before applying the sticks. Itâs painful for sure, especially if youâre not used to removing your hair with wax, but itâs much more effective than doing it with a tweezer.

Not impressed
I was expecting more from this product, but ended up rather disappointed. To begin with, the kit I received is missing the cleaning stick and thatâs an inconvenience. Then, the two halves of the heater twist together in the oposite way most things do, use caution as the tiny latch could easily break. The instructions are not clear at first, so it takes a little trial and error to fully understand what to do. The unit must be plugged in to work, there is no rechargeable battery. The power button must be pressed each time to start the unit, and the pilot light will be red while the wax is heating and a blinking blue when ready to use. Problem is, at this point the wax is really stringy, too soft. After trying to wind as much of that stringy wax around the tip of the wax stick with some still remaining in the heater, it can be applied to a nostril or ear canal. To my disappointment, after holding the wax stick in place long enough to let it cool and pulling it out with a swift pull, not enough hairs got attached to the wax so another stick was needed (I ended up using my old batery operated trimmer to finish the job). I am not sure if it is a matter of not having enough wax on each stick or the wax not being tacky enough.Lastly, the strings of wax left a mess inside and outside the heater that doesnât came off easily. With the cleaning stick missing Iâll have to look for something else to cleanâ¦.. if I decide to use this unit again.

haha! it really works!
At this point in my 40’s, my nose hairs are starting to get bold and they’re now venturing past the plain….past the plain! You have to stay in the cave, man!! But the don’t listen. They’ve now seen the other side and there is no turning back. I can’t let them win that battle, so I got me some reinforcements. This wax pen. I really didn’t know what to expect. It is lightweight plastic and the little nose plugs don’t look like much. You do get a whole bunch of them, though. They come pre-loaded with wax on them. You just insert it into the heating base, and then jam it in your nose. It takes a little getting used to…to do it without any mess in the heater or in your bathroom (I’m assuming that’s where you battle your nose hairs). After inserting, pressing, and holding for a few seconds, a solid pull comes out with all of those wily nose cilia. it is incredible and disgusting, which is why there are no pictures for this review. Haha! It really isn’t painful at all either…more satisfying than painful. If your nose hairs are tired of spelunking and decided they want to explore a whole new world, get this and put them in their place once and for good. I’m the boss of my face again.

This device is clearly made for scamming wifes and isnt made to be used.Tested it on ears and nose and barely any hair was removed and it left wax in them that was a pain to remove and would pull like 2 hairs out.Please dont get this and just buy tweezers instead. Its faster and cheaper or go to a spa.Last bit this needs to be plugged in the whole time. No battery. So just no please buy something else.
