This comb worked really nice on my wet hair. It was good size (what I was expecting) and was comfortable to use. I didnât notice a smell like other reviews mentioned. The thickness was pretty good but I was wanting something a little more sturdy. The value for money was okay.

I love this comb. The style and the sturdiness is great! Im really into tortoise shell print and itâs perfect.I have a lot of hair itâs a mix of type 3 curly hair and this helps detangle it.With or without water or detangler. I usually need to drench my hair to comb anything through it but not with this comb.It also doesnât cause any frizz or electricity like some combs can do to me. Also a good weight for the comb. I donât actually know how to tell whatâs good or not but it seems good to me.

Compared with most drab-looking hair combs, this one is a work of art. It’s thoroughly polished and has a beautiful, natural sheen, like dark amber. The sturdy tines (that’s what they call the teeth of a comb) are well sanded, separated widely from each other, but not sharp at the tips. I can’t imagine that the tines will ever break.

I almost bought two similar looking combs for $4.99 (different product, different vendor). Itâs what I do. I go for the cheap, which makes me happy in the moment, and disappointed thereinafter. Also clutters my life. I was hesitant to pay more for one comb, but Iâm so glad I did. It is smooth as can be, and glides effortlessly without pulling. I find I lose a lot less hair using this comb. Itâs so gentle I can use it on wet hair without damaging my tips. It feels good and sturdy in my hand, and yet gives and flexes to contour around my curls. It makes me happy every time I use it. And glad I opted for quality, not quantity. Delayed gratification is sweeter and perdures.
