Been using this hair gel for almost a year now, itâs my personal favorite. 1 Bottle lasts me so long. It gives my hair thickness and volume and holds shape, after a while it doesnât even seem or feel like gel is in your hair but your hair still looks good.

Disappointed
Made my hair feel like hay. To be fair Iâve been coloring my hair for years and so itâs already somewhat damaged. I was trying to stay away from hair spray because of the alcohol. Although it helped to lift the top part of my hair, it took away any shine my hair had.

I have been using joico firm gel for quite sometime but it was out of stock on Amazon for the last little while. It finally came back and it was new packaging…I feel like the gel works the same but one benefit to the new one is the smell…the old gel smelled terrible which was my only complaint. I have fine density hair but a ton of it and it is bleached all over. This gel gives me amazing volume (most important for me), shine, and great hold without being stiff and crunchy. I use this gel combined with a little bit of Sebastian Dark Oil and blow dry with a diffuser upside down. I have consistent results with this gel. I have not found another gel that works for my hair better than this one and I have tried alot!!
